Perfect Weapon

As the doctor continued to ask questions, Andy started to become restless. Jinxx, who was the closes, kept eyeing him nervously. The room became quiet as they heard a scream of anger.
“Um…” Jinxx spoke up hesitantly, but as he did Andy sprang from the bed.
Andy’s spring caused Jinxx to get shoved into the couch. Ashley and Jake tried to stop Andy, but got thrown to the side into some equipment in the room. CC got tackled by Andy and they both went to the floor.
“Who the hell are you?” Andy asked, his voice sounding demonic.
CC and the others froze when Andy spoke. The doctor called for a nurse and some sedation medication.
When the doctor got off of the hand radio he pulled Andy off of CC. “Has this happen before?” the doctor asked.
“Not this bad and this is what happens when he sleeps.” Jinxx answered.
“What else has he done in this state?”
“He destroyed my phone.” Jinxx answered. “that was the worse he’s done...beside wanting to attack me.”
“ We want to know what’s triggering this behavior. We need to be in California next week to continue our tour.” CC stated as he got up from the ground.
“I’m afraid that it won’t happen. I’m sorry. But he’s too dangerous to be around anyone.” the doctor said.
“We know that his behavior is based on these dreams he has. But what is triggering these dreams to make him behave like he does?” Jake asked as he checked himself for injuries.
He then helped Ashley up and Ashley did the same.
“Did he say when these dreams started to occur?” the doctor ask, as the nurse came in with what the doctor asked for.
“Yes, he said that he started getting dreams like these back when we did the ‘Perfect Weapon’ music video. But these dreams he’s having now are a continuations of the dream from the beginning of the week. The ones he had before were different and not reoccurring.” Ashley answered.
The doctor nodded. “It must be the song then.”
“But---” Jinxx spoke, but cut himself off.
“Is there anything in the lyrics that might have triggered this?” the doctor asked.
“Well….‘your violent lack of virtue...here’s to your perfect weapon ....crack bones with blind aggression.... like birds whose wings are broken .....you live without direction.’”Ashley recited some lines from the song.
“Just by the sound of those lyrics alone, the song sounds dark.” the doctor ask as he injected the syringes into Andy’s arm.
“So then...what’ll happen to him?” CC asked.
“These are sedation shots. It’ll rest his mind for now until we could do some further testing.” the doctor said.
The other members remind quiet knowing that they’ll have to cancel their tour dates until Andy is well enough mentally to preform. Just then Andy’s phone rang. Jinxx went and grabbed the phone. He saw who it was.
“hey guys...um….should we tell her?” he asked. “It’s Juliet.”
Ashley took the phone and asnwered it.
“Hey Juliet, it’s Ashley.”
“Hi Ash, is Andy around?”
“Um...yeah.”
“Can I talk to him?”
“He’s sedated right now...not sure you could talk to him.”
“OH SHIT!” Juliet’s voice grew in panic. “What the hell happened to him? Is he all right?”
“Mentally no. He had physically attacked us...CC got the worse of it though.”
“Shit are you all, all right?”
“yeah just some scrapes but we’ll be find. We’re going to have to cancel our tour until he is mentally ready to go.”
“How bad are those continuous dreams he’s been having gotten?”
Ashley was stumped. “You--you knew about those dreams?”
The others looked up at Ashley shocked.
“Well, of course. He tells me everything.”
“This most recent one happened in the hospital just moments before you called. It must’ve been brutal, because he sounded a bit demonic when he spoke out loud. It was like he was in a trance asking CC who he was.”
“That bad?”
“Yeah...and he only behaves like this when he sleeps.”
“He told me just before he said he was going to the hospital that it was getting worse.”
“How worse?”
When the doctor finished with the sedation syringes he got up and headed towards the door. “Let him be for now. If anything happens press the button on that machine and a nurse will come in to help.” the doctor said as he pointed to a machine next to Andy.
Jinxx nodded as the doctor left.
“Sleepwalking, blacking out, and not remembering how he got somewhere.”
“Are you fucking serious!?” Ashley yelled. The others jumped when Ashley yelled. “We knew about him sleepwalking. But….fuck….the blackouts would explain his actions.” Ashley then sighed. “Anyway, Juliet since we’re talking. Do you know if he has a list of any kind at the house or mentioned anything about our song ‘Perfect Weapon’ to you?”
“No...the only lists he has are song titles and the only thing he told me about ‘perfect weapon’ was that he started having these dreams after the music video was made. But I have noticed that he didn’t have those dreams until after he watched it on youtube. It was the video that had ‘The Outcast Call to Arms’ as it’s introduction.”
“Anything else? Like behavior or actions?”
“No.”
“Okay. I might as well let you get back to your tour. Sorry for holding you up.”
“No. Not at all. I just wanted to tell Andy that my tour will be over next week.”
“Oh..I’ll be sure to tell him that when he’s mentally comprehendible.”
“Okay. Talk to you guys later. Bye.”
“Bye.”
Ashley hung up the phone.
“What was with the sudden outburst from you Ash?” CC asked when Ashley returned the phone to Andy’s pocket.
Ashley sighed. “Sorry for that. Juliet told me that Andy has been having blackouts and not remembering how he got somewhere. Like when he broke your phone, Jinxx, and almost attacked you...and how he attacked us moments ago. Are you guys all right?” Ashley asked as he answered CC’s question.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Nothing serious.” Jake answered.
“I’m fine as well. If anything I just got a sore ass from being thrown into the couch.” Jinxx replied.
“CC are you all right? You had gotten the worse of Andy’s attack.”
“I’ll be fine; once I know Andy is fine.”
Ashley smiled. “I think that’s how we all feel C.”
“How about you, Ash, are you all right?” Jake asked.
“Yeah, just a little sore on my left arm. But I’m fine.”

As Andy and Dr. Potemkin made their way down the corridor, Andy’s vision started to black out. The last thing he saw was a new door being opened and the ground.

Andy’s body shook a little, like it had hit the ground hard. But other than that he remind motionless.
The doctor came back in. “How is he?”
“I think better. He hasn’t tried anything.” Ashley answered.
“The only movement that came from him was a shake, like he fell off the bed.” CC answered.
“Okay.” the doctor nodded. “I’m going to take some blood samples from him.”
Ashley nodded.
