CC's POV~


Jez squeaked as morg shifted his gaze toward her. "please can i talk to jez?" he took a step toward the door jez moved back a couple steps, fear painted across her face. "get the hell out of here before i kick your ass." i grabbed the bat i keep near the door. "please i need to talk to jez." he was pleading. "to hell you do. leave her alone you've hurt her enough." jez moved toward the kitchen. i grabbed her wrist and kept her next to me "shh relax. im here and your safe." she looked up and i could see fear all across her face. morg moved closer and jez flinched sensing he was getting to close to her. he reached out to touch her, and instantly jez's claws were out. she hissed and tried clawing i grabbed her and held her back. i grabbed my bat and held it out threateningly. "get out before i beat your ass for coming here." i growled. fear flashed across his face but he kept a stone face. "do it." he growled i lunged and hit him straight over the head with the bat. he went for a sucker punch i dropped to my knees and he kicked the bat away. i got up and got hit in the face. my nose broke on impact. i went for a wild hit and hit his jaw and nose. in a burst of red, hi nose was broken. i kicked him in the chest and jez ran over checking me over to make sure i didnt have to serious injuries. she lead me into the house and started cleaning me up. "thanks for keeping him away." she whispered as she started wetting a washcloth. "i promised id protect you. and i did." i came up behind her and hugged her. she turned around and gave me a small kiss.
