My actual adoption..

Jez's POV~

cc put me down giving me a kiss. "i gotta go buy some food. i'll be back soon ok?" i nodded and he gave me another hug and kiss. he left and i waited until i heard his car pull out of the driveway. i grabbed a beer from the fridge and walked upstairs. i closed my door and drank until the room spun around. i pulled the knife i kept in my wallet out and rested it lightly on my skin. this is because of you morg. i hate you. i hiccupped and the blade sliced my wrist. i dropped the knife and started licking the cut. i felt the room spin faster and the world seemed to turn black slowly but surely. i passed out hearing the knife spin across the floor.


cc's pov~

i walked into the house and felt something weird tugging at my guts. i walked upstairs and saw jez's door closed. i walked into her room and saw her passed out on the floor her wrist bleeding. the vibrant red seemed so bright compared to her pale wrist. i picked her up and carried her downstairs. i put her on the couch and grabbed gauze to clean her wrist. i left her on the couch and sat on the floor next to her head watching tv and keeping an eye on her.

(later that night)


i was in the kitchen getting water when i see jez standing in the doorway looking so small. "hey." her voice sounded strained. "hey jezzy." she started playing with the gauze on her wrist. "are you ok" i put the glass on the counter and walked over to her. "yea im fine just tired and i have a little headache" she seemed to be trying to convince herself as well as me. "are you sure? what about before?" i asked gently i was trying to be careful and not set her off. "nothing happened before its ok" she gave a small smile. "are you sure there was a beer bottle in your room and your wrist was bleeding." i felt so confused about this. before jez could answer my phone went off. it was jake. i hit the green button. "hello?"
"hey, cc its jake. is everything ok with jez?"
"whats wrong?" he seemed really concerned. i sighed and explained everything that happened earlier.
"oh god. this is what the care home lady said. she said jez had tried it before and she might do it again if she got really upset." jake sounded on the verge of tears.
"she was crying before i left to get some food." i sighed "i shouldn't have left her alone."
"i should've told you before you left. its my fault." jake kept blaming himself for something bad that happened to jez. "i gotta go i need to keep an eye on jezz make sure she doesnt do anything else." i hung up and found jez sitting on my bed staring into space. "hey." i shook her softly and she seemed to snap out of her trance. "jezzy your gonna be staying in my room for a while it's so i know your safe. you scared me before. ok?" i hugged her and held her close. she nodded and we both fell asleep. i was pretty much crushing her to my chest and she was clutching my arms like she was drowning and my arms were a life preserver.
