When all else fails... fake a smile.

Andy's POV

As soon as we seen the cops showed up we all left Anna and her boyfriend alone, so we could talk. I had told everyone to tell the cops that Anna had swung first and Brooke was protecting herself, and that Anna's boyfriend had walked up near the end. We all agreed of course. They walked over to the cops and were talking to them, so I went to go look for Brooke. I had walked back to her bunk and found Ashley there instead. "Where is Brooke," I asked him. Ash just laid there looking up. "She said she need some space," he answered. Before I could walk away he grabbed my arm. "Am I unlovable," he asked with pleading eyes. I formed a small smile on my lips. "No man you're not. It's just that Brooke, well she is more complicated then any other woman."

I leave Ashley and pull Leah over to me. "Brooke is not on the bus," I whisper harshly. She nods her head, "I seen her walk off with Ronnie. I texted her to see what was up and she said that she need some space and was going to go talk with him." I laughed, "They are going to do more then 'talk'." I walked off, heading to Ronnie's bus. I knew that he would try something like this, but with Brooke that just made me mad. I knocked on the door, not wanting to go on in and find something I really didn't want to see. Ronnie opened the door. "Hey dude can you come calm Brooke down," he asked. "What?" Ronnie seemed sad almost, "She is freaking out. She thinks she will be hauled off to jail." Hmm maybe I was wrong. Maybe he didn't screw Brooke at all.

Brooke's POV

When Ronnie said that there were cops I knew I had to do something quick, so instead of getting Ronnie involved, I started to act like I was scared, and started to cry. Hey when you can fake a smile for so long you don't really have to fake the tears you hold back. Ronnie went to the door to let Andy in, so I got dressed and sat on the bed, still "freaking out". Andy walked over to me. "Hey...hey shhhh it's ok. We're not gonna let you go to jail," he said as he pulled me to his chest. "I-I.... I can't go to jail Andy. Ronnie don't let them take me," I whined. Ronnie put his hand on my back. "I won't Brooke," I whispered. Andy pulled away, "Ok look here is what you do and say. You tell them that Anna threw the first punch. That you were protecting yourself. All the others are backing up that story. OK? And Anna's boyfriend walked up near the end of the fight." I nodded my head, a few tears rolling down my cheeks. The door on the bus flew open and CC stuck his head in, "Umm the cops want to talk to ya'll."
