Chapter Five
I got up pretty early that morning. Everyday when I wake up, I check on Stephanie, just to make sure she hasn't done anything to herself.
I opened her bedroom door and what I saw was wonderful. I saw Andy and Stephanie asleep. Andy's arms were wrapped around Stephanie in a loving embrace. They were also holding hands. I smiled. Seeing my daughter with this boy made me happy. If he ever did anything bad to her, he would regret it. I shook the thought of that away. I could tell they loved each other so much.
I closed the door and headed to the kitchen to make my lunch for work. About ten minutes later, Andy and Stephanie walked out into the living room. They stopped, hugged, and kissed, and Andy left. I just smiled, so happy for her. She went back to bed and I left for work.
