"So?” Richard asked.
“I-I don’t know Richard. I-“
“I’ll give you some time to think about it. But please do.” Richard smiled. I smiled back.
“I will.” He hugged me. I hugged back.
“I have to go back inside, I promised Kellin I’d meet him.”
“Very well.” I smiled.
He then kissed my forehead. I smiled softly and closed my eyes.
“Take care pumpkin.” He said as he walked away. I took a deep breath in.
Andy’s POV
“Please do.”
“I will.” I heard Leslie say. What is there to think about?!
I then heard footsteps getting close. I leaned against the wall. Richard walked in. I pulled him towards where I was.
“What the hell is your problem?” I said, my fists grabbing his collar.
“Dude! Let go of the shirt! It’s fucking new!” He said as he pushed himself off.
“Andy, if there’s something wrong with any of us, it would be you. You’ve hurt Leslie for so long. It’s time for her to be happy dont you think?”
“What the hell do you know of Leslie?”
“Everything! Every night I had to hold her because she would cry, thinking she had done something in her past that would’ve dragged her into this shit life. She thinks all of this bad luck was because of her own actions. She’s vulnerable. She feels worthless, Andy! She says she’s a piece of shit but I think the only piece of shit here is you.” I swung at him.
“Andy!” Jinxx moved my hand, making me miss Richard by a hair.
“So you’re going to take advantage of her vulnerability and be the hero?” I asked, being held back by Jake and Jinxx.
“Don’t you get it Andy? Your chance is over. Leslie is mine now.”
“She hasn’t said anything to you yet!”
“Oh, you’re so adorable. She’s been mine since she moved into my place.” He smirked, fixed his jacket and walked away.
“Let me go.” I told Jake and Jinxx.
Leslie’s POV
I looked up. Beautiful stars covered the sky. Should I accept Richard’s offer? I looked down, crossing my arms, hugging myself. I sighed. I love Richard, but my heart still aches for Andy. Richard has been so sweet, gentle, amazing. Meanwhile, Andy, he was about to be a father to my lost child.
“Jayden, If you can hear me up there, what should I do?” I cried out to my lost friend.
“I need you here with me.” I sighed. “I wish I could’ve saved you.”
“Who’s Jayden?” I quickly stood up straight and cleaned off my tears. I looked behind me.
“Oh, its you.” I sighed and quickly tried to walk away.
“Leslie wait.” He held onto my arm. “Talk to me.”
“Andy, I have nothing to say to you.”
“You owe me many explanations.”
“Oh really?! Like what? Hmm?”
“Like, are you going to accept Richard?! After our special moments?!”
“Our special moments were killed by you fucking up!”
“I know! And I still understand that I keep fucking up! But I need you Leslie. I need you. Your kiss is like a drug. Your voice is nicotine. Everything about you is a necessity for me.”
“You’ve been able to live without me all of your life, why don’t you start again?”
“I can’t!”
“Andy!” I heard a voice inside. I looked behind me. Juliet.
“What do you want?”
“I, I came for our date. You said to meet you here.”
