We All Fall Down Sometimes
Fionna's POV
I walk into a house that just looked so familiar. It gave me a really bad feeling, but I couldn't stop walking towards the door. I reach for the door handle,open the door, and the first thing I see is my mom and dad fighting.
"Why the hell did you just invite another man into our house with the kids were here!?" my dad yelled at my mom who just sat calmly on the couch.
She blinks and speaks. "I just....I don't know, it felt right and the reason was because it wasn't you!" she yelled. I look over at the stair case and see me and Indigo as little kids.
What the hell was going on, I thought to myself. I walk inside and speak. "Mom? Dad?" but they don't seem to notice me at all. My dad looks over at Indigo and me and then just looks back at my mom.
"Girls, go back to your rooms..." he said calmly and as soon as little me and Indigo went up the stairs, my dad started yelling.
"I love those girls and I want what's best for them, I also don't want them coming down stairs and seeing their mother just fucking some other guy!" he yelled.
I look down and realized that at some point he actually did care... it's all my mom's fault! She caused him to go insane and Indigo and I had to suffer because of that.
My mom smirked, she stood up and spit in his face. My eyes went wide at the sight of that. Dad slapped her and she fell to the floor. She laughed and started crawling to the door. I look behind me and their was a man standing there.
"C'mon babe," he said to my mom. I moved away from the door and my mom comes into his arms. Who the hell is that guy?
The door slams shut and the only person in the room is my dad. He grabs his jacket and goes out the door.
I go to my room and see Indigo and I in there looking out the window, watching my father leave somewhere.
I blink and all of a sudden the night passes and I'm 13 again. The year when he started to hit us. He comes home drunk and looks at a picture that had my mom face on it.
He grabbed it and threw it to the ground. Indigo and I come down from our rooms ready to go to school. He looks at us and I stop. Not this again, I thought to myself. He charges after us and I grab Indigo and run back to our room.
"Shit! What's going on with dad?!" Indigo yells. I stay quiet and then he comes through the door way. The grabs us and starts giving us punches and kicks.
Ashley's POV
She was really starting to lose it she was crying and just wouldn't stop saying 'Dad' . I shake her until her eyes shot open and she cried into my chest.
"It was her fault...All her fault," she said between sobbs. She calms down and she just sighs. "I'm sorry it was just a nightmare..." she whispers.
I get up and go to the kitchen to make her some pancakes.
I cut a little smiley face into them to see if it would help lighten her spirit. She walks in and smiles "Aaawww, smiley faced pancakes!" she squeals. I laughed and she sat down and ate. I turned around and I laugh.
"What's up with you?" she asked.
"Well.....your dressed like a unicorn, and it's pretty fucking adorable." I answered smiling and pricking my finger on the horn she had on.
