It Just One Of Those Days.

"Where's the pretty baby?!" I smiled as I leaned on the kitchen wall, getting a full glimpse of my boyfriend playing with our daughter as our son laid on his little curved seat, sleeping. I take out my phone and took a picture, because I knew this moment will never happen again. Well maybe it will, but who knows. I walk behind him and touch his shoulder. Brenda's eyes meet mine and I smile at her. I squat down and grabbed her, and she begins to cry.
"There there.." I turn at CC. "when did she eat?"
"About an hour ago... She can't be hungry, but then again she just woke up from her nap." I nod, sit down and took out my breast, and she begin to do her thing. Cc got the shoulder blanket and out it over me. I knew he wanted to take it slow, and he told me that getting a glimpse of my body wasn't going to help him. "it's just a boob, CC." I said, looking at Brenda as her eyes slowly closed. She would stop sucking, and then begin again. I smiled, and moved her little strand of black hair away from her face.
"Look at me." I do and a shutter goes off. He smiles as he types something In his phone. My phone vibrates and I reach for it, carefully not to wake up Brenda. I open my phone and smiled. He made a collage of many picture of me and our kids. There was one where Brandon was laying in my chest while Brenda was on top of him, one where's had fallen asleep with Brenda in my shoulder and Brandon on my laps. The middle one was the picture Carry took, by surprise. I was breastfeeding Brandon while CC bottle feed Brenda. We were looking at each other, and if I remember clearly, we were discussing our plans in moving in together.
'My world.'
Was his caption and he was right, they were my world, our world. Without two, these two wouldn't exist. As I looked at Brandon and he slowly opened his brown eyes, I was proud of myself into not giving up on these babies and this man next to me. I wouldn't know what I would be, if I had gotten through plan B. Cc yawned and there was a knock on the door.
"I'll get it." He walks lazily to the door and sighs. "we got company." He opens the door and Andy, along with Juliet, Jake and Ella, Jinxx and Sammi, even Ash was here.
"Hey!" I said and waved. Juliet looks at Brandon and her eyes go wide.
"May I?" I nod and was thankful she asked. If Brandon wasn't held a minute after he was awake, he would get fussy. Juliet held him and looked at him with a smile in her face. "he looks so much like his dad, but I see you in here." I nod. Ella comes to me.
"Need a cover up?" I nod and she turns around. Cc stands next to me, gets Brenda as I put back the cup of the maternity bra. I thank whoever invented these bras.i fix my shirt and patted Ella on the shoulder. She looks at Brenda and looks at Christian, he carefully puts her in Ella's arms. He was so careful with them, it was like he was walking in a middle of a lava floor with some rocks as safety while holding two eggs in two spoons in each hand.
"Why is Brenda in Guy clothes?" Ash asked.
"they though she was a boy, so I brought boy clothes. Surprise she was a girl." I explained. "It's good to see you."
"just came here to see the father. That's it." I roll my eyes and shake my head.
"Why the hate?" I asked him, yes, I actually dared.
"Hate is a strong word." He says, a stupid smirk going on his face,
"Yeah, hate, it fits you." He narrows his eyes and I just flash him a smile. "You're gonna meet your niece and nephew?"
"Yeah right. They ain't my family. No. Like I said, just came to see the father." I roll my eyes, not really wanting to care on how his words stung. All these people are the aunts and uncles of my kids, and then this asshole comes along, and rejects them.
"Okay." Was all I said, couldn't get mad now, could I. I went to the kitchen and put some frozen pizza in the oven.
"Need help?" Jake asked.
"Help me with a salad?" He nods, rolls up his sleeves and we get started on the salad.
"I think I have some left over sushi, want it while we wait?" He nods, and I open the fridge taking out the platter of left over sushi from last night. He opens the platter, grabs a fork,and pops one in his mouth. He groans and I knew they were still good. He takes the platter outside, along with plates and forks. I look over at the people I calls my family once more. Jake was fighting with Ella over sushi, Andy and Juliet were holding Brandon, looking at him and making him giggle once in a while. Brenda was playing with Sammi's hair. Cc, Jinxx and Ashley were in a deep converstaion, I could tell.
What ever this feeling was in me, I didn't want it to go. I felt complete here, like I found the missing piece of my puzzle. I looked at CC on how his smile would radiate through my mind, and his laugh fill my body with joy. I leaned against the wall and smiled as my family's voices filled the environment.




This is too good to be true.
