It Just One Of Those Days.

*two months later*
I looked at the mirror that was standing in front of me, getting the beautiful view of my seven month belly.
"Two more months." I whispered. "Two more." The door behind me opens, and I turn around.
"You got someone on the door...." Carry smiled and winks my way. I blush and got my bag. I picked up my dress a little and carry opens the door for me. "You know." I turn to her and she fixes my hair. "You've been so happy these past months..." Tears try to run down her face, but she wipes them away, and chuckles. "I'm just glad you're giving this another chance."
"I know. I know," I felt a small kick and smiled. "Who knew someone was going to accept me full balloon." We giggle and hugged. "Now, if you excuse me, my date is waiting outside and I have to go!" I kiss her cheek and walk to the front, where Erick was waiting, dressed nicely in a tuxedo. He was holding a small box and his eyes land on me. He smiles as I walked towards him and I give him a peck on the cheek.
"You look gorgeous."
I giggle. "I feel like a ball." He smiles and I smile back at him. He hands me the box and I stare at it. "What's this?" He opens the box for me and a beautiful black corsage was inside, put together with a burgundy band, making it match my dress. "it's beautiful." I said. He takes it out and puts it in my wrist. I look up at him and he winks, making my cheeks beat up.
"Let's go." I turn, waving at Carry and Matty goodbye and follow Erick to his Camaro.

As the waitress passed again, to fill in my water cup, a soft song came out in the dance floor. Who knew I was going to grab myself a man who attends fancy meetings, and balls.
"Dance with me?" He asks, as his hand reached for mine, and he was slightly bowed. I place my hand into his and we walk to the dance floor

Flightless bird, jealous, weeping

American mouth
Big pill looming


"You know, you do look very beautiful today. The burgundy brings out the brown from your eyes." He whispering in my ear. Our fingers were laced and his hand was on my lower back, while my hand was in his shoulder. He kisses my knuckles and turns me around.

Now I'm a fat house cat
Nursing my sore blunt tongue
Watching the warm poison rats
Curl through the wide fence cracks
Pissing on magazine photos
Those fishing lures thrown in the cold and clean
Blood of Christ mountain stream


We laughed and smiled as I would sometime trip over my dress or he would almost trip from his shoe. But it was all smiles. His blue eyes were always on me, and somehow, I felt protected. I felt a kick and he chuckles so freely. It makes me melt.
"They have energy." I nod and giggle.
After the beautiful song, that reminded me of my childhood. Surprisingly, another song I knew was on.
It was a Spanish sing, a sing by Romero.
Erick looks at me confused as he saw the smile in my face,
"You dance this?" I nod and his smile expands. "Well." He brings me closer and I let out a small wimped, and laughed freely. "Let's dance." Our bodies moved in sync, and people made room. He dips me and I let out a small whimper, and he laughs. He twirls me and his hands land on my belly. I blush and people looked at us, with wide smiles on their faces. I frown as the negative thought that this would've been me and CC, without the fancy stuff, in my pajamas, looking out at the night sky, or at the mirror of his house, or whatever. I let out a sigh and he kisses my cheek. I come back to reality and enjoyed my evening...
