Forever Us

The first thing I saw almost killed me. Skylar half falling into Johnnie’s lap, one hand around the back of his neck and the other holding a beer. I had to look away.

SKYLAR’S POV

“Oh shit!” I yelled as Vic knocked into me from behind on accident, pushing me into Johnnie and spilling my beer a bit.

“I’m so sorry!” Vic said helping me stand back up to my feet with Johnnie.

“It’s fine!” I laughed, a bit tipsy already from the beer. Soon Johnnie and I walked over to the bar and grabbed a few more drinks, sitting down on stools. Suddenly I heard a hiyena laughing loudly, I looked over to see Andy sitting there with Juliet falling all over him, she was kissing his neck and had one hand running through his hair with the other on his upper thigh. I bit down on my lip and I could suddenly feel tears forming in my eyes. I made a weird noise without thinking, making Andy look over. I wasn’t thinking… I had to make it look like I was just as good off without Andy as he was without me. I turned around quickly and pulled Johnnie close, kissing him passionately. He was shocked at first, then relaxed and pulled my hips close, kissing me back. Even harder than I started out. Someone cleared their throat from behind me and I smirked, knowing who it was then turned around, facing Andy.

“Skylar.” He tightened his jaw when he said my name. It wasn’t really a question or a comment or anything when he said my name, I don’t know exactly what it was about his mood right now, but it scared me.

“Oh, Andy! I didn’t see you there, sorry. Figured you would be out with uhm…” I nodded towards Juliet who was clueless, drinking away and still leaning on Andy for support, I assume so she could still stand up.

“Yeah. So I see you have a new uhm…” He nodded towards Johnnie. Oh hell no. Was he really playing that game right now?

“Yeah and you have yours too apparently.” I glared at him.

“Well you have fun with that.” He bit his lip then pushed past me with Juliet dragging behind him. Ugh, what a fucking skank. I couldn’t stand her.

“I will!” I yelled back even though I knew he wouldn’t hear me.

“Listen, Sky,” I heard Johnnie say from behind me. I turned around to see him still standing there, blushing and looking down. I smiled and he continued. “I really like you…” Ohhhh shit. I felt my cheeks get hot as well. I knew this wasn’t going to end well. Yeah, Johnnie was attractive and all and super nice, etc, but I still loved Andy sosososososooooo deeply. No one can replace him.

“Johnnie, I-” I looked up to see Andy staring at me from across the bar, but still in range to hear what I was about to say. He had huge eyes and looked terrified, just as nervous as Johnnie was for the answer I was to give. “I really like you too!” I giggled, putting my hand on his shoulder and giving him a cute little smile.

He pushed me up against the door leading to our bunk area, leaving a trail of kisses down my neck, making me gasp. “A-Andy…”
