Forever Us

“Hey, Johnnie!” She hugged him.

“Hey. Who’s this?” The boy named Johnnie giggled and pointed to me.

“I-I’m Sky.” I smiled and held out my hand for him to shake. Suddenly without any kind of warning he pushed past the hand offer and pulled me into a big, friendly hug. “Oh.” I laughed and hugged back. After a while we walked up into his room, he had Cartoon Network on already, I had seen it a few times on my own even without Taylor sometimes, so needless to say there was no judgment given there. “So, you’re on Warped Tour? What’s your band?” I asked, turning my head to the side slightly.

“Oh, he’s not in a band, he’s a YouTuber, his names Johnnie. Johnnie Guilbert.” Sammi chirped in, jumping in front of Johnnie.

“Oh, cool.” I gave a fake smile. I don’t know why, I’m just missing Andy really bad right now. I want him to come up behind me and tell me everything was okay.

“Yeah, thanks for speaking for me, Sammi.” Johnnie giggled, flipping his hair out of his face. I remember when Andy’s hair was somewhat long like that and shaggy, quite cute actually.

“I have to pee. Come with me, Ella.” Sammi suddenly said, grabbing Ella’s wrist and walking out of the room and into the hallway, searching for a bathroom.

“I guess they didn’t realize there was a bathroom in here.” He laughed, pointing to a door right behind him.

“Guess not.” I said awkwardly, looking around at the messy room with clothes sprawled all around it. He was going to be here for only a day then continue on to the next venue, I wonder why he decided to go all out in this room. Johnnie mumbled something I didn’t understand then sat down beside me on the bed, watching cartoons with me.

“Sky?” He said and I turned around, realizing our faces were quite close now. Suddenly he put one of his hands behind my neck and leaned in, kissing me slowly. I pulled away quickly and looked at him in disgust. Yes, he was attractive but I loved Andy, not him even thought I’m pretty sure Andy doesn’t really love me, more of just a game for him, but I try to pretend I at least mean a bit to someone. I guess I didn’t pull away quick enough though because my eyes shot up to find Ella and Sammi standing in the doorway with jaws on the ground, staring at this messy sight.

“Skylar?!” Sammi was the first one to break the awkward silence.
