I sat down next to her and held her close. "How many weeks?" I said, asking about the baby. "16..." I let out a low whistle. "Hey, that means we can find out if it is a girl or boy." She nodded, "We should pick names." She said. "Hmmm how about Jacob and Kathryn." I suggested. "No, I was thinking more along the lines of Katelyn and Joshua." I sighed, "Okay, how about Katie and Josh?" Her eyes lit up. "Perfect." She whispered and hugged me. "Ahem." Someone cleared their throat at the door. It was the doctor. "I am guessing you want to know what gender it is?" We nodded. “Alright, can you please uncover your stomach?” She did as she was asked. “I’m going to put some gel on your stomach. It might be cold.” He warned. As he put it one she squeaked. “Temp?” I held her hand. “It’s-It’s just really cold.” I laughed and she did too. “Alright, now time for the ultrasound.” She squeezed my hand. “It is looking healthy, very healthy in fact.” She gripped onto my hand so hard I had to loosen it. “And it’s a girl!!! Congratulations!!!” I looked into Tempest’s eyes and saw that they were watering up. “Katie, she’s are little Katie.” She smiled at me and we kissed. We kissed and kissed for a long time. Finally, she broke the kiss and I saw the tears running down her face. “Temp!!! What’s wrong darlin’?” She shook her head a smiled. “I’m just, I just never thought that I would be having a baby girl.” The doctor was still checking out her stomach with a puzzled look. “Doctor, is something wrong?” He just smiled. “You are going to have a baby girl-“ Tempest looked fondly at the ultrasound. “-and a boy.” She froze and so did I. “Wait, I’m having…twins?”
