I kissed all her scars.

Andy POV

I looked down and the sleeping Tempest on my chest. My god, she was beautiful. "Hey." I heard Shane at the door. I looked up and he was staring fondly at Tempest. "She okay?" I nodded, barely moving afraid of waking her up. "Yeah, when I came in here she was getting felt up by some douche." I could see the fire in his eyes. "Is she okay? Did he hurt her? I swear to god if he comes back her I will ripe is head clean of his shoulders. Both of them." I chuckled. "Whats so funny?" I looked down to see Tempest looking up at me. "Oh nothing, just something Shane said." She turned to look at the door. "Hi." She said, grinning like a fool. "Hey. You okay?" She nodded. "Well, now I am." She curled back up on my chest and in minutes was asleep. "How long until she can be taken home?" I asked. He shook his head, "The doctors are shocked she's made it this far." My eyes widened, "What's that supposed to mean?" He looked at me, "They don't think she's going to make it Andrew." It took a second for my brain to register what he just said. "Wait, how did you know my name is Andrew?" He chuckled, "I knew your father. I never knew you but we split apart. All he said was 'He's name is Andrew.' and left. Never saw him again but, when I saw you, I saw him in you." I stared. I heard someone clear their throat and looked by the door (Shane was in one of the chairs by the bed). "Excuse me but are you the guardian?" He looked at Shane, "I guess I am now since her step-mother is a crazy bitch and her father is in jail." The doctor looked at him like he had grown a second head. "Well follow me if you want to adopt her." His eyes lit up and he practically jumped out of his seat. Once there were gone I looked at Tempest and kissed her forehead. "Hey sleepy head."
Tempest POV

"Hey sleepy head." Andy said and I looked up at his icy blue eyes. "Hey- where's Shane?" He gave me a crooked smile that made my heart melt. "Adopting you." My heart fluttered and my eyes became wide. "Really?" he nodded and I was so giddy I leaned up and kissed him. I could tell he was as shocked as I was but he quickly started kissing me back. I could feel his hands traveling up my hospital gown and I grabbed them. "Please no..." I whispered. His eyes got wide, "Oh my gosh Tempest I'm sorry!" I shook my head, "It's okay I'm just....not ready. Plus we are in a hospital." We laughed. "Hey." We heard a voice at the door and turned to see a girl standing there. It was the girl who saved me last night. "Oh, um...hi." I said awkwardly. Andy looked at the girl and then looked back at me. "Do you know her?" He asked. I shook my head again, "No, she is the girl who...who saved my last night." He looked at her and then his eyes widened. "She saved you from him?" I nodded and he stared at her. "Sup, I'm Jessica." Andy nodded, "I'm Andy and this is Tempest." "Hey" Is said with a small wave. "So who was the freak last night?" She walked in and sat in one of the chairs. I cringed, "That was her abusive step-father." Andy responded for me. Her eyes widened, "That, that was your step-father?" I nodded and she shook her head. "Don't worry my dad, Officer.Thomson, took him in personal and is making sure he doesn't get out again." Andy looked at her, "Your dad is an officer?" She nodded and then gave me a cute smile, "It makes it hard to do any thing illegal." I giggled and so did she. "Well, nice meeting you." I nodded and she walked out. Andy let out a low whistle. "So she's the one he caught him.?" I nodded. "I saw her get him but my vision was blurry so it was hard for me to see her clearly. I looked up and Andy again and he started leaning down, I leaned up and our lips met. This wasn't like our normal kiss, it was more passionate and loving. We kissed for a while before I got really tired and passed out again. "Good night kitten." I heard Andy whisper in my dreams.
