It's Game over.

I walked the few steps to the elevator, my mind erasing the events of tonight. I stepped through the opening doors, with a sigh I pressed the button to the third floor. With a look at the empty hallway, the doors sliding shut ended my night.

I made it to the bathroom outside of the pool, finding my clothes I quickly changed. I laced up my shoes, my hands clenching as I looked at the leather jacket. It was just hanging from a hook, but the smell of him rolling off it made me blush. I jerked it down with the rest of his clothes I made my way back to my room, I rushed to the elevator my feet moving on their own.

I made it to my floor, I ran to my room stopping barely to unlock the door. I felt my hands drop my stuff as I entered the room, Nikki was awake and sitting on the bed with Ashley. He gave her a quick kiss on the forehead and walked around me, I heard the door click shut as Nikki stood up blushing. "What happened?!" We both yelled. I was probably crying but Nikki wasn't looking at me, so it didn't matter as I fell face first on my bed.

"Lexi we need to leave soon, so I already put my stuff in the car. See you down stairs?" She asked, I heard the door open and close as she left. I sat up wiping my face I scrambled to get my stuff together, I finished quickly as I pulled my hoodie on. The leather jacket stuffed in my bag I made my way downstairs, the lobby was full of people leaving. I returned my key card to the front desk and made my way outside, the parking lot felt quite as I made my way to the car.

I made it to the car with a smile, popping the trunk I threw my stuff in. Slamming it shut I looked up and felt my knees shaking, he leaned out the window of his room. A few clouds of smoke leaving him, had me rooted as he watched me. I felt his eyes burn with intensity, as I looked at him a honk of the horn had me look away. When I looked back he was gone, I quickly got in the car. With a couple song changes we left the hotel and headed home for the rest of the weekend.

(A few months later)

I felt my phone vibrating as I finished my fifth paper, I chose to ignore it. It went off again as I opened a new tab for research, sighing I answered it. "Hello." I said, "You free tomorrow night?" Nikki's cheerful voice rang out as I closed my tabs, saving the unfinished projects. "Depends for what?" I countered, I stood up to stretch out my back muscles. It was a Monday night, making me wonder what she was so hyped about that was going to happen tomorrow night.

I slid into my kitchen, opening up the refrigerator for a quick bite. I decided on yogurt and listened to her reply, "Its a secret but also a big favor on your part." I mulled it over, never to disappoint I said, "Okay you win." She squealed. "God I love you! See you tomorrow after work!" I chuckled and hung up. I made my way to my room, a quick look at my closet I set my yogurt down.

My hand found the handle, turning it I pulled the door open. I pushed my clothes apart, my face heated up as I looked at his leather jacket. It was becoming a sick habit as I brought it up to my face, I inhaled the smell of cigarettes, cinnamon, and just him. I blushed darker as I stood up with it and sat on my bed, I couldn't bring myself to wash it. Memories came back as I closed my eyes, the sound of my phone made throw the jacket on the floor. I sat up to answer right away, kicking it under my bed.

"Hey! One more thing, I need you to go shopping for a dress! Okay? Alrighty bye bye!" I heard Nikki announce, my eyes narrowed onto my phone as the call ended. "Is this a date?" I asked out loud. No one to answer me back made it much more obvious.
