The boy in the house opposite mine

"I'm home!" I shout as I close the front door behind me.
"Hello, honey!" My mom shouts down from upstairs. "I'm in the bath. There is some food in the cupboard if you're hungry."
My dad is in the kitchen to greet me.
"How was school?" He asks eagerly.
"It was okay, I guess" I say opening the cupboard to see a granola bar. I grab two and hand one to my dad.
"Did you make any friends?" He says munching on the bar.
"I made one friend" I smile.
"Oh My God! You just smiled! Who is it?!" Dad laughs. I almost forgot I haven't smiled or shown any sign of happiness to my parents for a while.
"His name is Andy Biersack." I grin biting into my granola bar.
"It's a "he", huh?" He says annoyingly.
"Dad!" I yell angrily "Can't two people of different genders be friends anymore?"
"Of course they can, Honey." My dad finishes the granola bar as I leave the room and go up to my room. I remember what Miss Hutter said earlier:
"He's a bit of a troublemaker but he's very talented musically."
I get out a notebook and a pen and begin writing some lyrics. I've always loved writing songs but today was the day I realized that someone might actually want to hear it. After writing a verse and half the chorus, I take a little break. I listen to some KISS for some inspiration but I notice that I work better when I write from the heart.

Say goodbye to the answers,

I look out the window. Andy's back from the dentists. I'm half tempted to go over there to hang out but I'm too tired.
After dinner I go right to sleep. But I can't wait for tomorrow to come, for the first time ever.
