Our faith will silence the doubt

Kaili frowned at Valentin. “This line is longer than the cafeteria line at school!” Angela frowned, “Oh come on lighten up. This is great!” Kaili tapped her foot impatiently. “What time is it?” “Eight thirty.” “Isn’t the concert supposed to start at nine?” He nodded. “Ugh! She stood on her tiptoes trying to find the beginning of the line.” “It goes on forever!” Angela looked around embarrassed, “will you shut up already! People are staring.” Kaili shrugged, “I don’t care!” “I thought I told you to look presentable.” Kaili looked down at her black high heel boots, and her black strapless dress. “I look presentable.” Valentin frowned, “You look like you’re going to a party.” “How is that dress concert approved?” Kaili scowled, “It’s the only rock concert type clothes I found!” Angela frowned, “You should have told me you where dressing up for an opera show and I would have lent you something to wear.”
Kaili looked at Angela who had on a pair of black and white stripped skinnies, with white converse, and a Black Veil Brides T. She had her hair up in two pink tails that where teased. She had on black war paint like…well like almost all the people in line. She felt she was seeing a bunch of clones; they were all painted like the old Black Veil Brides videos, from the We Stitch These Wounds album. Kaili frowned, great; she knew more than she wanted to from the band, thanks to Valentin. But, she had to admit, Angela looked wicked. Valentin had on a black beanie, a Black Veil Brides T, under his dark blue sweater, and his black leather jacket, and a pair of denim skinnies. He looked fashionable, yet there was a sort of rocker edge feel to him. Leave it too him to look like a total hottie even when in normal clothes. He had put his spider bite piercing on, and his face was painted like Andy’s from the coffin’s video. At least his makeup was more original, not many guys or girls wore the new band’s style. She was the only odd on in the group. Angela frowned, “You need a bit of a makeover.” Angela took a black pencil eyeliner from her satchel and thought for a moment.
As they girls were busy fighting over what amount of eyeliner was considered, too much. Valentin took the time to light a cig up. The night had turned a bit chilly. He watched the girls laugh and work on each other’s makeup, when he remembered, Kaili hadn’t brought a jacket. He was holding Angela’s sweater, but Kaili had forgotten hers. He looked at Kaili’s exposed long legs frowning; she was going to be freezing when the concert ended. He already saw she had Goosebumps. He let out a soft sigh, the smoke from the cig flying out of his mouth. He started to take his jacket off when a pair of girls walked up to him. “Um…excuse us…” He looked at them confused, “Yes?” The girls looked at each other and giggled. One of them took a step towards him, she was about Angela’s size, normal height and had flaming red hair. “Hi, I’m Yumi.”
Angela opened her eyes as Kaili finished applying her eye shadow. “There you still have the rocker look, but with a bit of kawaii feel to it. “Thanks. You look fabulous.” Angela looked passed Kaili to Valentin. Who were those girls that were with him? “Look Kaili, some girls are all up on your hubby.” Kaili looked at the girls; one of them was way too close to Valentin and laughing. Kaili couldn’t help but feel jealous. Angela grabbed her hand, “Come on, they need to know he already has a woman.” Kaili couldn’t help but laugh, “A woman?” “Don’t question me right now, I’m on full defense mood.” Valentin smiled as he took a step back from the girl he thought was innocent until her friend let her take the stand. “I guess I could give you my number.” The girl’s eyes brightened, “Really!? Oh thanks, maybe we can meet up sometime, have a nice cup of coffee, and…” Valentin looked at her confused, “And?” The girl looked down embarrassed then put a hand on his chest. “And have some fun.” What was with girls now a day? This girl couldn’t be more than sixteen, and she was ready to have fun? Valentin knew she didn’t mean the playing video games kind of fun.
