Lost in Time

Stormra's POV

When I finally came to, I was in a desert surrounded by sand and the sun beating down on me. Sitting up and glancing around, I had no idea where I was. I stood up my large AC-DC shirt hanging off of one of my shoulders as I started walking through the sand in my combat boots towards the rocks I saw in the distance, at least I hoped that was the direction I was going in. The heat made everything a little hazy. Once I finally reached the rocks, I sat in the shade and thought to myself, What the hell am I going to do? I don’t even know where I am.

Glancing around, I couldn’t help but notice something out of place among the sand and rock of the desert. Is that…a symbol? On fabric? What’s that doing here? These were the thoughts running through my mind as I got up and started walking towards it out of sheer curiosity. Able to look more closely at the symbol now, I saw that it was a star-like symbol with something around it. I don’t know why, but for some reason that symbol seemed familiar to me.

All I took was another step forward before I fell at least a hundred feet onto the ground below. “Ow,” I muttered, annoyed with myself for not paying enough attention to the area around me. Looking around, I realized that I now had a bunch of people in dark torn clothes staring at me.

I glared at them because they couldn’t at least be respectful and help me up. I stood up and shouted at them, “What are you staring at? Don’t you have anything thing better to be doing right now?”

I couldn’t get over the fact they were just standing there. Then all of a sudden, someone ran out of the crowd of people yelling, “Stormra! You’re back!” I felt myself being picked up off the ground as I started to get squeezed to death.

“Put me down or I will stab you!” I started shouting again as I squirmed in the person’s arms.

I was quickly put down and I finally got a good look at the person. His brown eyes wide with shock, the man was wearing a black vest with no shirt underneath, black pants and boots.

“Stormy? You don’t remember me?” the guy asked. Most of the people staring at me earlier had gone there separate ways, but I noticed four people heading our direction.

“How could I remember you if I’ve never met you?” I asked before continuing with, “And where am? I’m sorry about threatening to stab you. Could you please tell me where I am? I’ll leave you alone after that.”

The four people finally reached us as the man stood there flabbergasted at what I was saying for some reason. I mean, come on, think about it, how could this guy know me?
The shortest of the five before me put a hand on the shoulder of the man who was talking to me and said, “CC, its okay. Remember what she told us when we first met her? She said she had no idea where she was, mad at everyone for staring at her, and then all of a sudden you showed up squeezed her to death telling her how much you missed her.”

Everyone’s eyes besides the one talking widened in surprise, and they all looked at me. Finally, the tallest one smiled and said, “Well, this should be interesting.”

I raised my hand for a moment, “Can someone tell me what the hell is going on here? Cause I sure don’t.”

“Welcome to the future!” The one named CC shouted with a huge grin.
I couldn’t help but smile, “I’m Andy, that’s CC if you heard earlier, the one next to him is Jinxx, this is Ashley, and lastly on my left here is Jake,” the tallest of them said as he introduced all of the guys in front of me.

“Nice to meet you, and you somehow already know me,” I started, “so I’m just going to get to the point here and ask, what did CC mean by the future?”

Andy sighed and said, “Follow us, we’ve got some explaining to do.” With that CC put an arm around me, and led me away from the bottom of the cliff.

As you can see, I've found a better way to separate my paragraphs cause I can't get the tab button to work on this site....
