Lost it all.

@samzi: new member of the family, welcome Malcolm Mendez.

The picture was the three of us, and the small certificate in Malcolm's hands. We put him in the car and we drove to a nearby McDonalds and bought him his first happy meal. He looked like someone was giving him a Christmas gift.
"Thanks Mommy!" He exclaims as he got hold of his meal. Aphrodite smiled. As we drove home, his little voice tried to mimic mine and Aphrodite's as we sang along to Nirvana. He looked outside the window and hugged a teddy bear he found in my car... That's probably mine. "Am I going to school?" He asked as he looks at Aphrodite from the little front mirror. "Yes."
"Will kids like me?"
"Of course, Mal." I said, making a signal to the cars that I was going left. "And if they don't, they're crazy." He smiles and nods firmly.
"Home!!" Aphrodite sang as I parked the parking lot. I turn off the car and helped Malcolm out of car. Reminder, buy booster seat. Malcolm grabs Aphrodite's hand and she opens the door. I follow behind them and closed the door as I entered. Malcolm looks at me and smiled.
"Come on, this is our room." I said, he follows me and we enter our enlarged room. The curtains were still separating our bed spots, now to see this room through, it looked weird. The curtains that separated my bed with Gracie's were black, and the one that separated Aphrodite's from mine were like a lavender color. The walls were a dark grey, and our furniture were black as well. I shrug and Malcolm sits on the wheely chair.
"Can I sleep here?" He asks.
"Of course, unless you want to sleep with my boyfriend." I said, sitting in my bed.
"Is he nice?" He asks.
"He's gonna be a great uncle." I said, smiling at him. "You wanna meet him? I'm going to talk to him today." He nods and I look at Aphrodite. "We're skyping today." She smiles and nods. She's been waiting for this day a little too long now.

I put my hair in a side braid and waited for his call to enter. Malcolm was sitting in front of the laptop.
"When he say?" I look at the clock.
"In a few."
"Theres a flashing blue button." Malcolm said. I rush to the laptop and pressed the accept button. His face filled the screen and his eyes go wide.
"HEY SAMMY!" Jake grabs the laptop an begins to walk away from CC.
"Hey Jake."
"Who's the kid? And the lady?" I look behind me to see Aphrodite fixing her hair.
"My new girlfriend and our son."
"CC! SHE CHEATED ON YOU!" I roll my eyes as he was running around.
"Jake, you're gone drop the technology!" He stops running and turns around, revealing CC smiling. "Who's the little guy?" "His name is Malcolm, we just adopted him today."
"We?"
"Me and Aphrodite." She sits on my laps and waves.
"How is SAMMY behaving?"
"Amazingly. You got lucky."
"I'm a lucky guy, yes." I roll my eyes and smile. Somehow things got to cheesy, that even Malcolm started to pretend to throw up. I would blush so furiously, but CC and Aphrodite would even bother to stop. Soon enough, Malcolm fell asleep and I was dozing off.
"I'm going to sleep... I gotta work tomorrow." I said, yawning. "Sleep tight baby." I blow him a kiss and he pretends to catch it. I roll my eyes and got Malcolm and carried him to CC's room. Seeing him today made me miss him so much more. I laid in his bed Malcolm's head on my bicep. I sniff his scent that still roamed in his room and smiled as I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep.
