Cross your heart

So here we are now. Harry and I, driving in a cab, heading back home. Since that day we kissed, I felt really uncomfortable around him, but we both try to pretend it never happened. Andy would be mad if he found out.

“Hey, come on, we’re here,” Harry called out to me, reaching out his hand so I could reach it and he helped me out of the taxi. He already got the suitcases while I was zoning out. “Can we hurry? I wanna see Lexus really soon.” Curly boy was really excited to see my daughter, I wonder how happy he’d be when the other baby will be here.

I nodded in response to him and tried dragging the big suitcase with me to the door, but he beat me to it. I continued walking with just my bag in my hands and him with all the stuff. Pulling out my house key, I unlocked the door and got inside. First words I heard, were: “SHIT! WE ARE GETTING ROBBED!!!” That might be CC…

And I was right.

He ran towards the front door with a baseball bat in his hands and his face was priceless. Maybe because I was laughing like a freaking hyena. Same goes to Harry who accidentally dropped some bags and caught CC’s attention back. “CHRISTINA! YOU ARE BACK!” The bat fell down on the floor and he ran towards me, hugging me like a teddy bear.
“Y-Yeah… I’d be really glad if you stop choking me,” I managed to say. “W-Where are the other guys… I need to tell you something…” I trailed. Harry cleared his throat to get CC’s attention and they high-fived. “They are sleeping upstairs. Andy hasn’t came back since yesterday. And Lexus is in the living room, on the couch, sleeping.”

I didn’t think twice before running to the living room which had a few stairs to run down. “DON’T RUN!” Harry shouted. I could hear CC asking ‘why shouldn’t she’ and Harry answering ‘you’ll find out soon’. I stopped my steps when I saw Lexus waking up and tears heated my eyes as I walked over to her and she jumped up and ran in her little steps towards me. “Mommy!” I had my hands wide open for her and she didn’t hesitate before jumping in my arms swiftly. “Gosh, l missed you so much!” I cried and smiled but then she felt my little bump. It was visible a bit without a shirt on, and you could feel it so I assume she felt it with her small hand. “Why is mommy’s tummy big?”

“Mommy is having a baby! You will have a little sister or a little brother!” I tried to act as cheerful as possible, just to make sure she wouldn’t be sad. “Can I play with him soon?” Lex was stunned with the news and also, she was really happy to know she’s getting a baby to play with. “Yes, soon you two will play.”

I picked her up and sat down on the couch with her, catching up on things since I’ve been gone. Harry entered the room after leaving his and my stuff upstairs. He approached me and Lexus, but my daughter couldn’t remember him. I mean, it’s been a while since they met. “Lexi, this is uncle Harry,” I told her kindly, when she hid her face as Harry was near us. “Hi Lexus,” he started. “Remember me?”

“You have really cute hair…” Lexus whispered. Harry chuckled and gently took her little hand in his big one, and put it on his head while bending lower. Lex came a bit closer to him and she played with his curls. “It’s soft! Mommy, his hair is soft!” she cheered. “Come on, touch it!” Lex encouraged. “Um, I don’t think Harry would like that…”

“I don’t mind,” he said, looking up at me. Lexus got bored with all my act and annoyingly put my hand on his soft hair.

We continued playing like that for a while until the whole band entered the room. “Holy Shi-Christina!” Ashley screamed. Harry had to move aside, to make path to the guys as they all hugged me and Lexus was in Harries embrace, playing and chatting. Jinxx knew I hadn’t told the others about my pregnancy so he remained silent. “I’m going to call Andy. He should come home now. His soon to be wife is here,” Jinxx said, leaving the room.

Lexus stopped with her giggling and playing and she was trying to get out of Harries arms and ran to me, putting her hands on my legs. “Mommy, daddy was with Aunty Jul.”
“Who is Aunty Jul?” I asked, trying to contain the fake smile. “That would be Juliet,” Jake said.

No way. With Juliet? Are you trying to kill me?

I was frozen and I couldn’t believe what I heard. Not until Harry scooted himself next to me and tried to comfort me. “Don’t stress and don’t think negative… you know it could hurt it…”

A few minutes later, the door barges open and Andy was in the sight of my eyes. “Christina…” he walked towards me, but didn’t even touch me. Like something was wrong. “I… I’m glad to see you again, Andy.” I could see some pain and regret in his eyes but it didn’t stop me from hugging him tightly. I missed him a bit too much but to him, it didn’t look like that. “I missed you…” I whispered. Soon enough, his arms hugged me back. Ash sighed and got annoyed with our expressions. “Just kiss already!”

I tried hiding my blush, but it got harder as Andy’s thumb went under my chin and I had to stand on my tip toes to ease the kiss for Andy. “I missed you too,” he whispered in my ear after the kiss. I pulled back and Lexus was about to tell them my secret but I shushed her in time. “Is there something you’d like to share with the guys, Christina?” Harry said. I smiled in response and put my hands on my stomach and looked at everyone.

“I… um… Andy… Lexus is… um…”

Ugh I can't do this!

No, I have to do this.

No, I can't do it!!!

Just say it... it can't be that bad...

“Come on already, I can’t handle surprises!” Ashley excitedly said.

“I am… pregnant.”

Hello :) this chapter was being written exactly 3 days. I was wondering on what to write and how to continue the story, but it turned out well (in my opinion). So, what do you think about this? Any feedback would be marvelous to hear from you.

And... if you don't know (or if you do), today is March 1st, and that's Self Harm Awareness Day. I wanna say that if you're suffering from self harm, you're not alone. And it gets better. Because, for me, it turned out better in the end. With lots of help from music, from my parents and my friends. Don't think it's over and that it can't get better because it can. And people are here for you.
