Cross your heart

As I searched through my blog, reading some older posts I got a notification and it was… really weird. Someone commented on my last post.
Wanna know what it’s about?
‘Dearest blog…
I have such a horrible life. I get beaten up almost every day, at home, at school, by my step mom and step sisters and this horrible guy named Andy. I mean, why does he bully me? What have I ever done to him? Is there something wrong?
I just ran home and I am so sad and curled up in a ball…
What I like about Andy, is his eyes, his face, and his perfection… ugh what am I saying… I shouldn’t even like him. If he doesn’t like me I shouldn’t like him, right?
But hey… you gotta admit he’s gorgeous. Like, really gorgeous.
Idk, maybe I like him. Oh I don’t know. Let’s forget this ever happened.’
And that was the biggest mistake of my life.
As I lay on my bed I started dreaming about mom coming back to me and hugging me so tight like she always does.
But here I started to dream about something else.
Andy’s blue eyes.
~2 days later~
“Christina! Get down here now!” my step-mom, I assume, called me down.
I groaned and got up, walking downstairs.
“Yeah?”
“Don’t you ‘yeah’ me! Get your ass over here and start making breakfast! Then make something to eat! We’re having guests for lunch!” she yelled.
Ugh how much I hate her… just… ugh…
“Fine, fine…” I say, grabbing the pan and putting it on the stove. As always I need to make them pancakes. I don’t eat. You heard me. I don’t eat.
~After breakfast, lunch time~
“Janice! Get your hands off of my hair!” I hear Katherine shout.
“It’s not my fault you have curly hair! Let go of my earphones!” Janice yells back.
I just laugh in my room and get ready for lunch. Brigit said we need to dress up nice. As if we’re having someone very important for lunch. Huh…
“CHRISTINA!”
“COMING! COMING!” I yell back.
I run downstairs and see a tall figure standing there, about 20 years old. And another person who seems to be in his… 50?
I greet them as we all sit down and eat. But what came after lunch, was just horrible.
“Everyone,” Brigit starts. “I have an announcement to make.”
Tensing up, I look at the guy which I said was very tall. His name’s actually Kevin. And for some reason he had to sit beside me.
“Christina… you’re about to get wedded!” she says with a smile on her face.
“Excuse me, WHAT?” I ask, letting my eyes widen and feel a hand around my shoulders.
“Yes! You’re about to get wedded to this young man!” she says, pointing to Kevin.
Oh no way I’m doing this. No no no. My dad would never let that happen.
“No! I mean, NO! What the hell is wrong with you, Brigit?! Do you think I am a toy?! No, I’m not! I’m not a human toy! I’m not a slave! I will not drop out of school just to marry a stranger!” I yell at her.
Everyone’s eyes land on me and I don’t care.
“Why do you talk to your mother like that?” Kevin asks.
“She’s not my mother! Nobody will replace my mom! Not even a single woman who marries my dad!” with that I storm out, locking the door of my room.
I throw myself on the bed and suddenly start to cry. This was too much for me. I can’t get married at 15! No! We’re not in India where arranged children marriage is happening! NO! We’re in AMERICA! And I won’t get married to a stranger!
Charlie called me and she had a reason for dragging me away.
“Come on, I’ll pick you up and we’ll get ourselves ready for tonight! Everyone is going! Come on, please?”
She wants to go to see Braking Dawn and I just can’t say no to her… it means a lot to Charlie. But I don’t get why…
“Alright, I’ll wait at the park. Bye.”
I quickly changed into some shorts and a tee, running out of the house and leaving them gossip about me.
“THERE YOU ARE!” Charlie says.
“Come on, we’re gonna be late!!!”
And we drove off…
Awe so cute
