Steak
Ashley's POV
"Holy fucking mother duck!" Britni yells from the kitchen before running through the room swearing like a trucker. "RATCHET ASS HOT FUCKING GRILL!!" She screams and I hear running water from the bathroom. I want to help her so bad, but I hurt so much. She walks back out and has her hand rewrapped. "Steak is saved, I'll be right back." She mutters hissing in pain. I sigh, I feel so bad. I want to help her. Andy moves to turn the TV on and I flinch, whimpering. "God dammit, I'm sorry Ash. Didn't mean to scare you." He says softly and I nod. He doesn't come any closer, thank god, but went back to Olivia slowly. "Steak is served." Britni says handing plates out. She comes and sits down next to me, letting me curl into her side. "Damn this is heaven..." Jake groans inhaling his steak. I take a bite of mine and gasp. It's amazing. "So does everybody enjoy the steaks?" Britni asks as I quickly finish mine. The guys all nod and the girls just laugh. "How bout you Ashy?" Britni whispers, eating is still a little scary to me. I have her though and she thinks I'm perfect. "A-amazing" I stutter quietly and Britni pulls me into a hug. "Do you guys wanna watch a movie?" Olivia asks and I smile. "Nothing scary or dark please..." I say nervously and she nods in understanding. "We could watch all the Star Wars movies." Sydney suggest obviously trying to find something intertaining but not dark. "Sounds good to me." I say and Britni gets up, I shiver as she leaves my side but she smiles at me. She scoops me up and then sets me down on the floor, pulling the couch out into a bed. She then puts me back and I pout. "I coulda moved!" I whine and she cocks her head. "I know your ass must be killing you, so moving your legs is like not possible. I'm not stupid Ashley." She says grabbing a blanket and climbing on next to me. Olivia and Andy rummage through the movies. "Dumbass we said Star Wars not Batman!" Olivia says smacking Andy with a movie case. He grunts and shrugs. "Worth a shot," he mumbles and CC laughs. "Not with these girls Andy, I thought you knew that!" He teases and I curl up to Britni. I just want to sleep curled up to her. "Remember thou who waketh me, dies." Britni yawns and immediately the room goes silent except for the movie. "Sorry Ash if I fall asleep, blood lost will do that to ya." She yawns again, wrapping her arms around me. I rest my head on her chest and close my eyes. "Sorry if I sleep." I mumble back and she slides us down. She spoons me and nessles her head in the back of my neck. "It's alright, baby." She whispers soothingly and I feel safe, and complete. She's back. About half way through the first movie Britni's breathing slows down and she relaxes more. I yawn tiredly and Jinxx pulls another blanket over us. "Thanks Jinxxy," I mumble and he nods before sitting back down. I close my eyes and fall asleep to Britni's steady breathing.
