not only did I just spill out one of my deepest secrets, but I found my mate? It was a lot to take in.

"you okay?" Ashely asks me, his voice filled with concern.
"I just can't believe it." Nobody has ever been attracted to me. It's just a weird feeling now.
"you didn't know?" He asks again, wrapping his arms around me tighter , like his life depended on it. I shiver and smile. This was the first time I was hugged with such force, sure me and Emma have hugged before, but this was different.
i don't know how long we were just sitting here, silence filled our environment, just our rapid heartbeats were heard.
It was a nice environment.
"we should go back." I whispered. "I think Grandma and Emma would be worried."
"yeah, we should." We both stand up and head to my car.
"Ashley, you have to promise me not to tell anyone..."

He stayed quiet.

"I promise."
