I sat way in the front.
Basically near the driver. With my bags.
And yes I felt guilty not thanking Kale the random stranger for paying, But I built up enough strength to look right at the back.
Kale, Dexen and the others were sitting there on their phones discussing random stuff, The sweet british boy took a glance at me and smiled.
I offered a awkward smile back, I could see him whispering something and retreat from his group.
He stumbled over the silliness of the bus jolting and halting at stop lights and shaking over the random bumps.
He finally made a stop near my seat and sat beside me, Judging by his appearance he seemed friendlier then before he gave another heart warming smile and opened his mouth to say something.
"Why are you out at this time?"
he asked.
I looked away out the window letting my insecurities eat away at me. I shrugged in a moment of silence.
He took my chin between this index figure and turned my head gently so I was facing him, He looked into my eyes trying to read my mind. Then finally he frowned.
"Your running away from home aren't you" he said releasing my chin and looking down at his lap, I gave him a surprised look and nodded.
He caught that and took another look at me.
"Why?" He asked.
I didn't want to answer.
But I...did.
"Things are hard okay, I ran because I didn't want my problems to eat away at me" By now I was letting a couple tears fall. Because it was hard to explain this to a strange.
"Hey...its okay" He said, His english accent was quite strong now, Unlike his mates his voice was high.
He wiped my tears with his thumb.
"HEY DEXEN GET YOUR ASS HERE!"
I heard the leader call, Dexen looked back and just flipped him off.
"Won't he get mad for you flipping him off?" I asked raising a eyebrow, "Nope" he answered popping the p.
"Where is your family" deep down inside I knew I shouldn't ask, I knew it'd effect him.
"Ohio...I left them for well my mates up there I'm the youngest and then theres Kale. Kale is 22 and Tom he's 24 and Devon he's 27 and them theres Dereck who's 32 and John who is currently 34" I nodded.
"Why'd you come here next to me huh?" I raised my voice not really meaning to".

"Do you want to join us?"
