Memory Game

Andy caught Jake by his shoulder, making the older man turn around in question.

"... Andy, right? What's up?"

They were on the stairs, and Andy gave him the picture. Jake looks at it, and rose a eyebrow. "What's this?"

"Jinxx and you won the Best Guitarist of the Year from Kerrang! Magazine." Andy told him, pointing at the award.

"Our band in general got a lot of awards, but we kept this one framed because it meant so much to you and him." Jakes eyes looked the picture over, and he smiles at Andy. "Cool."

Andy felt disappointment. "Did that ring a bell or do anything?" He asks, hopefully. Jake shakes his head, and Andy bites down on his flooring in thought. Should they tell him about his mom...? A internal war made Andy sigh. He would have to ask the guys and Ella. Andy walks downstairs and looks at Ella, her face sad. "He'll get better in no time." Andy assures, but is uncertain himself.

Ella sucks in a sharp breath, letting it out after. "Yeah...." She scratched Trixy under her chin. "Go see daddy." She told the skinny dog, who went up the stairs.

Ernie just looked up at her, and Jinxx rubs her shoulder to comfort her. Soon, Ella was crying, and Jinxx gave us a look to leave. "Ella, go upstairs and see what you can help him remember."

Ella nods slowly, and stood up, following Jinxx's instructions and going upstairs.

Hey dudes! I'm the new co author. :3 sorry about any errors, the tense and POV this book is in isn't my normal one of first person and past tense! But I tried.

In this book Ella will be friends with Jinxx, I don't know if they actually are as with the Sammi divorce thing she said some pretty hateful things. But time has passed, and maybe they're friend-ish.

So, I hope you guys enjoyed and please give me a chance! I'll work out the kinks in my writing and familiarize myself with the writing style.
