Bullets in a Music Box

Cold rain poured itself from the sky and onto the pavement in a fast pace. It was officially rainy season in LA and it was beginning to get old. Constant rain in the normally sunny streets of LA was getting not only annoying, but really cold and wet. My feet hit the pavement almost in unison with the rain as I ran from my car to the coffee shop that Zara and Callum were waiting for me in. This morning has not been a good morning, everything was going wrong and I was being rushed. As I walked into the building and shook off the water from my umbrella, Zara said my name. I looked up at her and gave me a small smile. When the water was off of me, or as much as I could get off, I walked over to the table and sat down. Zara was sipping her coffee and Callum was taking a bite of a sandwich.

“Good morning Miss Sadee,” Zara smiled and I looked at her.

“Not a good morning,” I sighed and she furrowed her eyebrows.

“How so?” She asked.

“Everything is just not going my way,” I sighed again and she put her hand on top of mine.

“Vent it out Sadee,” she told me and I looked from her to Callum and then back to her.

“Well, first off, I woke up late. I was supposed to go to a meeting with a personal trainer at six this morning. My alarm didn’t go off and I woke up at eight to five missed phone calls and numerous texts,” I said.

“Wait, why didn’t Andy wake you?” She asked.

“Cause he was already gone this morning. I think BVB had a photoshoot in Sacramento this morning, you should know this,” I said and she thought before nodding.

“I did know that, but CC stayed in a hotel in Sacramento last night,” she said and I shrugged.

“Anyways, I got up late and had to reschedule my session. Then I went to take a shower, only to find out that we apparently have a broken pipe in the basement so there was next to no water pressure. I called a plumber and they are going to fix it. After the shower thing, I decided to just wear a beanie and bum it today. Well, that plan was changed when I realized that all of my sweatpants and hoodies are dirty and in the laundry room. So I decided on this outfit. But, when I was making myself some oatmeal, my phone fell off of the counter, hit the floor, and the screen shattered. I can’t really use it,” I paused and both of their eyes were wide.

“It gets better. Tyler called me and decided to tell me that we have to get into the studio within the next two days to begin recording or he’s not going to fund it, or let us record it. Because apparently we’ve put it off too long and he wants it to get done and put it out as soon as possible,” I sighed and Zara rolled her eyes.

“Tyler is a drama queen. He called me this morning too, I told him that we all just got off of a four month long leg of a tour and we want to spend time with our families before getting into the studio. He tried to tell me that he understands but we knew what we signed up for and blah blah blah. I responded with a swift shut the fuck up and told him we will get to recording when we get to it and hung up,” she smiled and I smirked.

“That must have been after he called me, cause he wasn’t pissed when he talked to me,” I chuckled and she shrugged.

“Well, he needs to understand that being the head of a label is stressful, yes, but being the actual artist who tours and plays show after show every night is ten times more stressful and tiring,” she said and I nodded.

“Exactly,” I said and then turned to Callum. “How are you today?”

“I’m great actually,” he smiled.

“I haven’t really talked to you since we got back, how has it been being back home with your family?” I asked.

“Amazing. Ryley is over the moon to have me back and Lucy gave me the best news in the world,” he smiled.

“Which is?” I asked.

“She’s pregnant,” he smiled behind his cup and my mouth dropped to the floor and I jumped around in my seat.

“Oh my god Callum! That is so exciting! Are you excited?” I asked.

“Of course I am, and I’m glad we’re going to record stuff and not go on tour any time soon,” he said and I nodded.

“Me too,” I said. We were quiet for a little while after that. When the quiet got to be a little too much for me, I got off of the chair and went to order a coffee. After that was done, I walked back to the table and looked at the two of them.

“I know that we said we’d take some time with our families, but I feel like Tyler isn’t going to let up until we record the EP,” I said and Zara looked at me.

“So, we’re going to do it?” She asked.

“I think we should,” I sighed and Callum nodded.

“I’m itching to play my guitar again,” he said and I smiled.

“Alright, then we’ll go to the studio, tomorrow?” I asked and they nodded.

“Okay, we’ll go to the studio tomorrow and begin recording,” I said and they nodded. I’m excited to get into the studio to begin recording, it’s always been a dream of mine, and to be able to have my songs on a record, it’s going to be a dream come true.

Hey guys, so sorry for the short chapter. It's more of a filler. Sadee's having a bad day, she might have a little fight with Andy in the next chapter over FFF going to record their EP. She might cry, I haven't decided yet. But I literally had no ideas for this week, and I felt really bad. But then I talked with some friends and they told me to do a filler, so I did. Next week might be another filler, I don't know yet. I have a lot on my mind right now, so I'm sorry if the chapters lack the awesomeness they normally do. But thanks for hanging on this long guys, it means the world to me!!

QUESTION TIME: Give me some ideas guys, I have a lot of stuff I have to do with school so I am handing the torch to you. Give me ideas, comment them, message me on here, find me on my social media whatever. I don't think I can come up with ideas right now by myself, so yeah.
