Jaguar's POV

I'm dragged roughly out of bed, screaming. "Shut up!! You're gonna pay for earlier!!" My exboyfriend Sam growls hitting me. Ashley's not in the room, so much for my savior huh. Tears fall down my cheeks as I try to fight him off. He flings me on the bed and climbs roughly on top of me. "You're gonna pay for this!!" He growls starting to strip me.

Ashley's POV

I woke up in the middle of night needing to use the bathroom. I quietly and quickly crawled out of bed and run to the bathroom. As I'm on my way back I hear a scream, no! He's back!!! Why did I have to pee!? I sprint down the hallway and almost fly in the bedroom. He's just starting to undress her, that asshole. "Get away from her!!" I growl leaping at him, I can see the relief spreading across her face. "Make me emo!!" He growls hitting me in the face. "Sam just stop!! Can't you jus leave me alone!!" She begs as we start to exchange punches. He takes me to the floor, pummeling my gut. Anger courses through me as I hear Jaguar sobbing quietly. "YOU DO NOT HURT SOMEBODY AS BEAUTIFUL AS JAGUAR DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME!!!? TOUCH HER AGAIN AND I WILL KILL YOU!!!" I scream spitting blood in face, I push him off me and pound him. "LEAVE!!" I snarl dragging him out and throwing him down the stairs. He whimpers and hobbles out, I fucked him up bad. My lip is split, have a bloody nose, black eye, cracked a rib or 2, and twisted my ankle. I grunt hobbling back into her room. "Pl-please d-don't hurt me s-Sam..." Jaguar whimpers and I sigh. I can't believe that asshole. "Sh... Jaguar he's gone. It's Ashley. I've got you." I cooe pulling her into my arms. She sobs quietly into my shirt and I rub her back comfortingly. "I'm so sorry Ash..." She whispers looking up at me. I love her so much, I just don't know if I should tell her. How could I? Maybe I should settle for being friends. "It's not your fault angel... Come on let's et some sleep." I cooe kissing her head softly. She nods and we fall back into the comfort of the bed.

Jaguar's POV
I open my eyes and am greeted by Ashley's sleeping face. He looks so peaceful, so beautiful. I may actually like him, no just because he's saved me now, twice. But because he's actually really sweet, and caring, he's not just the player I first met at the bar. His arms are wrapped tightly around me, like he's trying to shield me from any possible danger. I actually feel safe around him, which is huge, I felt safe around a guy in years. Actually I wouldn't even be alone in the same room as one, now I'm snuggling with one. "Babe you awake?" Ashley yawns stretching. My heart lips a little, he just called me babe. I roll over so I'm facing him. His lip doesn't look all that bad, and his eye looks a little better. "Ya," I say snuggling back up to him. I hide my face in the crook of his neck and his whole body seems to relax. "Shhhh... Jaggy I've got you. I'll protect you till the day I die." He whispers pulling me closer. I don't think I could get much closer but apparently I could. Now I'm almost laying on him. "Ashley, you make me feel safe. I think I may be falling for you." I say quietly and his whole body tenses. Shit... He doesn't like me back. "Jaguar I have already fallen for you." He whispers blushing, I smile and kiss him gently. "We can go slow. Just you and me. I won't push you into anything." He says a since of ergency in his voice. I stare into his honey colored eyes and smile. "Ashley, I trust you." I say kissing his soft lips again. He sighs and hugs me. I feel so safe around him, it's a first. "I will never let anyone hurt you again, I promise." He vows and I nod. He's so sincere. We just lay there snuggling till I hear footsteps in the hallway.
