Love, Hate, Magic, and the Past

*Kate's POV*
I walked and kept walking. I checked my phone and wasn't really paying attention to where I was going. I bumped into someone and I fell down.
"Hey are you ok?" The person asked. They sounded really familiar.
"Yeah I'm fine." The person reached a hand out and they helped me up. "I'm Kate."
"Hi, I'm Vic...wait a second....Kate? Is that you?"
"Holy shit! Vic!! Yeah, I haven't seen you in a really long time!"
"How are you?" He asked.
"Ok I guess. I've seen better days."
"What happened?"
I told him everything. He already knew my story but I told him about Jinxx and what Andy did today. The flashback, Jake and CC. Afterwards we went and got dinner. He was one of my best friends. We talked for a while, until I said I had to get going, to my friends house, that was around the corner. We said good-bye and I walked down the street again. I felt bad lying to him. But I knew that they, they as in Andy, would find me there. So I went to the beach instead. I hated the beach but during the night I loved it. The sky was clear and you could see the moon. It was a beautiful place to die. I ripped off my phone case to retrieve my blades, but instead a picture fell out. I picked it up. It was a picture of Jake and I. Tears stung my eyes and I sat down on the sand. Slowly the tears rolled out. So there I sat holding a picture, looking at the moon, crying my eyes out. Eventually I stood up, I was still crying. The wind blew my hair to the side. I stopped crying, but I still just stood there.
"Kitten?" A very familiar voice asked.
I turned around to see Jake standing there. He hadn't called me that in almost a year. I ran to him, picture in hand. He pulled me into an embrace. I heard another car come. People walked up to us. I didn't let go.
"Kitten...CC is here." He whispered.
"I don't care right now."
"Kitten?"
"Jake?"
"I've missed you."
"Me too."
"Kitten? Since when did you call her Kitten?" CC asked. Well...he kinda yelled it.
"I've known her longer than you have. I knew she would come here. She and I used to date..." Jake faltered. "Did you know that when she is cold she curls up like a cat?"
"No. Because she always has a sweatshirt on." I buried my face into Jake's chest. CC was pissed, I could tell by his voice. But I decided to risk it.
"What would you do if I died?" Jake's breath hitched and he looked at me.
*flashback*
"What would you do if I died?" I asked.
"I would die with you."
"What if I committed suicide?"
"I would cry, then get dehydrated and die."
I smiled. "Ok."
He smiled back.
*end of flashback*
"What do you mean?" CC asked.
"It's simple. What would you do if I died."
*flashback*
"Jake?"
No answer. I walked to his bedroom. "Jake?"
"I'm busy right now but I'll be done in a half hour."
"Ok." I started to walk away when heard. "Baby, you are such a good liar!" Then a moan. I rushed back and yanked open the door. There was Jake, with 2 other girls from my old school. I slammed the door and ran down the hallway, bumping into Jinxx. He held me steady.
"What happened?"
I didn't say anything. I just grabbed my stuff and walked out the door. Jake ran after me, yelling my name. He finally caught up with me. I turned around and slapped him. "Leave me alone!"
*end of flashback*
"I would be extremely sad. And I would cry...A lot." CC said. "Why?"
"It's just something I ask-"
"Who? Your boyfriends that you fuck and leave?" Andy asked.
"What? No-"
"Yeah right. Don't lie."
I lost it. I went over and slapped Andy. I punched him a few times but he just threw me over his shoulder. I hit his back with my fists.
"Jake!!!!!" I screamed. In the light of the moon I saw CC was holding him back. Ashley walked out of the car and helped him. Andy slapped my ass.
"Shut up."
*flashback*
"What would you do if I was raped?"
"You have a lot of questions."
"No. But seriously...."
"I would hurt the person, a lot. They would die."
"What if it was your best friend?"
"They would die a slow and very painful death." He said as he kissed me. "No one is going to hurt my Kitten."
*end of flashback*
*Andy's POV*
"Andy, let me go!" Kate yelled. "Put me down!!! Please!! Don't do anything to me!!!"
I ignored her. She started crying again. "Please let me down."
I dropped her and she scampered away from me. I walked over to her in 2 strides. I pulled her up and put my fingers through her front belt loops. I tugged down on her belt loops.
"Andy, what are you doing." She asked. "Andy....."
"Andy........" she dragged out the 'y'.
I stared into her eyes. She had green-blue eyes. You could get lost in them.
*Kate's POV*
I stared into his icey blue eyes. They softened a little bit. He let go of my belt loops and shoved me back. I stumbled back and fell over. He picked me up by my shirt and he slapped me.
"What are you doing to everyone?"
"I don't know what you're talking about!" I said.
"Your eyes make us go crazy."
"What?"
"Ashley is now acting weird around Kira. I'm acting weird around Jinxx. And then you, Jake and CC."
"Andy! I'm now doing anything. If I could I would stop it. And I would make it go back to normal."
"Normal....what do you mean by normal?" he let go of my shirt. He looked mad. I backed up and I backed into someone. Who ever it was wrapped their arms around me. It was CC. Andy fell to the ground and Alex stood there. She disappeared and I shivered.
"Something is wrong with that girl. She controlled us." He said. "Kate. You belong with someone else."
"What do you mean."
"You belong with Jake. And-"
"CC....what are-"
"Kate. Trust me. You belong with him."
He let me go and I faced him. I hugged him and walked over to Jake. He looked up at my and I sat down next to him.
"Are you ok?" He asked.
I nodded. "Yeah."
"No you're not. Come here." I scooted over to him. He put his arm around my shoulder and he looked out at the water. "You were going to do something really stupid, weren't you?"
"Yeah. Then a picture of us fell out instead of my blades and I just collapsed. I was happy but at the same time I was sad. Then it was flashback after flashback, and they were about us. And CC says that-" I realized that I was rambling on and I stopped.
"What did he say?"
"That we are meant to be with each other...."
Jake was silent. I looked over at him. His eyes reflected the light of the ocean, and I saw each wave crash onto the sand. He turned to me.
"I...umm...it's just-" I started, but I was cut off by Jake's lips. I fell back onto the sand and he flipped us over so I was laying on top of him. "For once I agree with CC." He said. I nodded and put my head on his chest. We stayed like that for a while.
"Kitten?" Jake said shaking my shoulder. "The tide is coming in. We all fell asleep."
"But I don't wanna get up. I'm comfy."
"I know, but the water is going to be really cold."
"Yeah..." I said as I stood up. I looked out over the ocean. The sun had started to peak out over the horizon. The sky was pink, orange, and red.
