ANDY'S POV
I was walking with CC and Jake when I got the feeling that something was wrong. As we got closer to Ashley's house, the feeling grew.
"Something's not right.." I said.
"What do you mean, bro?" CC ask, curiously. I didn't answer. Instead, I ran up Ashley's front porch and opened the unlocked front door. Heading upstairs, I shove his bedroom door open with the all the strength I have. What I saw then shocked me.
Ashley was on top of Alex, who was now almost naked. It looked like she was kind of out of it, giving the hint that ashley had used his ability on her.
"GET OFF HER!" I shouted before slamming ashley to the ground. He looked startled before growling and shoving me off him.
"Seriously Andy? Seriously? I was so fucking close! Let me have her just once, then she's all yours." Ashley yelled back. I turned around to see CC and Jake running in and gasping at Alex's have naked and unconscious body.
"Ashley what did you do..." CC asked, stunned. Ash just scoffed in reply.
"I swear to god Ashley, you ever touch her again and I'll rip your fucking head off. Got it?" I seethed as I redressed Alex and picked her up in my arms.
"Whatever. Just get out of my house." CC, Jake, and I ran out of Ashley's house, getting back to mine in less than 3 minutes. I gently placed Alex on the bed when I noticed her slowly regaining consciousness. She looked up at me with adorable sleepy eyes.
"Wha-What happened?" She asked, obviously confused.
"Hey guys can you give us a minute?" Jake and CC nodded before exiting my room, probably going downstairs to watch a movie or something.
"Ashley used his ability on you." I said, sighing. A look of confusion took over Alex's beautiful face, making her look even more adorable.
"What's his ability?"
"He has the ability of seduction. Did you see his eyes switch to a gold color?" She nodded. "Well, he tricked your mind into thinking you wanted to have sex with him." I noticed a tear slip down her cheek.
"Did h-he... Did w-we..." She said shakily.
"No. I sensed something wasn't right and came in before anything could happen." I reassured her. A look of relief took over her face before she jumped into my arms.
"Thank you, Andy. You're my savior." She said, smiling.
"You're welcome, Lex. You're very special to me. You know that, right?" I asked, receiving a nod in return. I gently tilted up Alex's head and placed a gentle kiss on her soft pink lips.
"Alex?"
"Yeah?" She asked.
"I think you're my mate..." I said, nervously.
"What does that mean?" She questioned while tilting her head to the side.
"It means we're destined to be together. Forever." I slowly looked up to meet Alex's gaze. She looked shock, which scared me, but quickly looked excited.
"Are you serious?" She said, squealing before jumping back into my arms and kissing me, hard.
"Yes. Every vampire can tell when someone's they're mate. The first day I met you, I knew you were." I said, honestly. She smiled and nodded before yawning.
"You tired?" She nodded. "Want a ride home?" I asked.
"I don't wanna go back there..." She said, sounding pretty upset.
"You can stay here if you'd like. But we're gonna have to talk to my parents, first."

@Red Phoenix77 i wrote this back when i was about 13 (im 18 now) but i assume that my thought process was that vampires weren't undead, they were very much alive. also, i was very inexperienced when writing this story so i didn't put too much thought into things. maybe i'll re-write it one day! :)
