ALEX'S POV
When i woke up the next day, i was still smiling. The events of the kiss yesterday in Andy's car still lingered in my mind. My mom kepts asking why i wouldn't stop smiling and why i kept touching my lips. She's know it's about a boy, and she knows his name is andy, but she doesn't know he's a vampire. I'm scared to tell her. We've had imediate family members hospitalized and killed due to attacks from vampires. I'll only tell her if me and Andy start dating. I decided to get up for school, so i wasn't late. It was supposed to be pretty hot out today so i decided on a pair of black jean shorts, a mint green tank top, and my black converse. I did my typical straight hair and smokey makeup, then brushed my teeth before heading out. I heard my stomach grumbled and sighed before slipping a piece of gum in my mouth.
"Guess who!" A voice said after a pair of hands were placed over my eyes.
"Ashley?" I guessed, obviously knowing it was right.
"Right!" He said as he removed his hands. It got real awkward real fast, at least for me. I was still really pissed about what he said to Andy.
"I know." I said, simply.
"I heard." He replied.
"So why are you here?"
"'Cause i wanna apologize. It was wrong of me to expect something like that from you, especially since you've never done 'it' before. I guess i just saw you and really wanted you. I don't know, you're so pretty and cute. I'm sorry..." He said looking down. I didn't want to forgive him, but he seemed really distraught and like he really was sorry.
"I forgive you." I said, sighing. I saw a grin take form on his face before he grabbed my hand a placed a kiss upon it.
"Thank you. Come over today after school? I'll take you out to eat, to make up for it." He said with a glimmer of hope in his eyes.
"No funny business, right?" I questioned.
"Swear." I thought about it before nodding then closing and locking my locker since the bell had rung. Me and Ashley exchanged goodbyes before heading to class. I smiled when i saw Andy and blushed we he motioned for me to sit with him.
"Hi.." I said shyly, turning away in hopes he won't see my blush.
"Don't look away, you're blush is cute." He said as he gently placed his pointer finger and thumb on my chin and turned my head so we were making eye contact.
"T-thanks." I said.
The rest of class was really boring. Just a bunch of note taking, really. Andy and i goofed off most of the class and almost got kicked out for being so loud. It was fun though. Andy's a really great guy. My thoughts were interrupted by the teacher announcing for us to start putting our stuff away since class was about to end.
"So, what are you doing after school?" Andy asked.
"Oh, Ashley apologized earlier at my locker and to make it up to me he wants to take me out to eat." I said. I saw the expression on his face turn to anger in a matter of seconds.
"Don't go with him."
"Why no-" I was cut off by the bell ringing and a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see a smiling Ashley.
"C'mon, Lex. We have Literature next. Walk with me." He offered. I nodded before putting the rest of my things away a getting up.
"Bye Andy! We'll talk later." I said, smiling. He smiled back periodically before returing his gaze back to Ashley who just winked before linking his arm with mine and walking off.
ANDY'S POV
He's really doing it! He's really fucking doing it! This kid's ass is fucking grass. I warned him not to go near her, and here he is inviting her to 'lunch'. I know damn well they're not going to eat. I'm not letting this happen. I can't let this happen. I was supposed to tell her that she's my mate today. I groaned before heading to my next class, which luckily is a Dom class that has Jake in it. I can vent to him.

@Red Phoenix77 i wrote this back when i was about 13 (im 18 now) but i assume that my thought process was that vampires weren't undead, they were very much alive. also, i was very inexperienced when writing this story so i didn't put too much thought into things. maybe i'll re-write it one day! :)
