Pain of Circumstance
ALEX'S POV
I woke up, squinting my eyes at the sunlight coming from a window in Andy's room. What time is it? I rolled over very painfully and reached over Andy to grab my phone off the charger before looking at the time.
"Andy, we have to go to school." I said, almost coldly. He groaned slightly before he rolled over to face me.
"We're not going." He stated. I shrugged since i knew why.
I laid back down and stared up at the ceiling, not really wanting to go back to sleep and face my nightmares again. Turning my head, i looked at Andy's sleeping figure. I know he blames himself for what happened to me, but he shouldn't. I sighed and closed my eyes, somehow drifting off into a nightmare filled sleep once again.
I woke up again to the sound of tapping on Andy's balcony. By the time i looked over, it stopped. It was probably a bird or something, right? I laid back down and closed my eyes with no intentions of falling back asleep. A few minutes passed and the tapping had started up again. I was now annoyed by that sound so i decided to get up and shoo away the bird that was doing that. I trudged over towards the doors very painfully before ripping open the curtains and screaming loudly. Tears started pouring down my face as i stared at the man that stole everything from me. I closed my eyes and opened them, doing this a couple times to see if he would disappear. I backed away from the door, shaking uncontrollably as Max turned the handles and walked into Andy's room.
"How's my favorite little human?" He greeted tauntingly, walking towards me. The pain and fear that ran through my body stopped my from running away.
"Please." I whispered. I cowered away as he moved his hand to touch my my face. Max pulled me closer to him and leaned forward so his lips were by my ear.
"How about round two?" He whispered seductively. A shiver ran down my spine and i finally found my voice.
"Andy!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. An angry look washed over Max's face before he back handed me, ultimately sending me to the ground from the amount of force.
Within seconds Andy, CC, Jinxx, Ashley, and Jake burst through the door. Andy took one look at Max before his eyes flashed to a bright red color then pitch black.
"Get away from her." He growled lowly, sending a shiver down my spine. Max grinned wickedly before grabbing my arm roughly and pulling me towards him.
"But we had so much fun last night!" Max whined. He grinned again at Andy before running his fingers along my side, my hips, and the top of my shorts. I cried harder, not wanting him anywhere near me.
"Should we show Andy what he's missing?" Max suggested before roughly yanking my shorts and underwear down. Max beared his fangs.
"No!" I screamed. I saw Andy trying to run at Max but was held back by Jake and Jinxx, most likely because Max could kill me in a split second. CC was shaking and crying while Ashley was trembling in anger. His eyes were bright red as well as Jinxx's and Jake's.
"Let her go." Ashley growled causing Max to laugh hysterically.
"You should see your faces!" He laughed. "I've had Alex, i don't want her again." Max said simply before pushing me to the ground and turning around to leave. He jumped off the balcony then ran off into the distance. Once Jake and Jinxx thought it was safe, they released Andy. He ran over to my side and scooped me up into his arms.
"Shh, you're okay." Andy cooed, his voice shakey. I looked up and saw him crying.
"W-why are you c-crying?" I stuttered out in between sobs.
"I was so scared he was gonna hurt you again, and right in front of me!" He exclaimed. I nodded and closed my eyes, exhausted from crying so much. I felt my underwear and shorts be put back on me before i was gently lifted onto Andy's bed. A body crawled in next to me and i knew it was Andy by his scent. I curled into his side, feeling safe when he wrapped both arms around me, before falling asleep.

@Red Phoenix77 i wrote this back when i was about 13 (im 18 now) but i assume that my thought process was that vampires weren't undead, they were very much alive. also, i was very inexperienced when writing this story so i didn't put too much thought into things. maybe i'll re-write it one day! :)
