You Acted First You Could Have Walked Away
ALEX'S POV
We were all now back in the living room, sitting on the couches. Ashley, CC, and i were on the biggest couch while Jinxx and Jake were on the love seat beside me.
"Can someone please just tell me where Andy went?!" I exclaimed groaning.
"Nope. Sorry, Lex." CC said. I sighed before flipping everyone off.
"Fuck you guys."
"I don't think Andy would like that too much, Alex." Ashley said, smirking. The guys all laughed with him and i rolled my eyes at their childish behaviour.
"Immature fucks." I mumbled, looking out the window and getting lost in my thoughts. I suddenly realized how tired i was.
Yawning, i scooted over closer to Ashley. I threw my legs lazily over his lap and cuddled into his chest. His body language showed that he was surprised, but he soon relaxed and wrapped his arms around me, ultimately bringing me closer to his body. I absentmindedly dragged my hands down his torso, my fingers moved over the ridges of his abs. Once my fingers reached the hem of his shirt i swiftly moved them under. I slid along his abs, smirking when i felt him shiver and his breathing hitch. I suddenly realized what i was doing and pried Ashley's arms off me before hauling myself off the couch. The guys all looked at me funny.
"Alex, are you okay?" CC asked worriedly. I nodded, breathing deeply.
"Y-yeah, i just need some air." I said, exiting before anyone could reply. I opened the slider door located in the kitchen and stepped out, the warmth of the sun calming me instantly. I sat in one of the lounge chairs on Andy's deck and closed my eyes. A minute or so later, i heard the slider door open again. I opened my eyes to see Ashley sitting in the lounge chair beside mine, facing me.
"What was that all about?" He asked. I moved, mimicking him.
"I think you know." I looked down at my shoes, awkwardly.
There was a moment of silence so i decided to look up from my shoes. When i did, i gasped slightly. Ashley had moved so that he was now crouching in front of me. Our faces were so close that our noses almost touched. His mouth was open slightly, so i could feel his breathe on my chin. Ash slowly leaned in, his lips brushing against mine, before fully closing the gap between us. I kissed back, my cheeks heating up and butterflies fluttering around in my stomach. He slid his tongue along my bottom lip, gaining entrance almost immediately. Ashley's silky tongue massaged itself against mine. We made out for a minute or so longer before something clicked in my head. I'm making out with my boyfriend's best friend! i pushed Ashley away from me, ultimately sending him to the ground. He looked up at me with a confused expression on his face.
"I just cheated on my boyfriend. Oh my god, what have i done?!" I whispered before leaning my head in my hand. I allowed a few tears to slip down my face.
"Alex, look at me." I heard Ashley say. I slowly looked up to see him back on the lounge chair he was in before.
"Why are you crying?" He asked. I gave him a look that said 'you should fucking know!'.
"Why am i crying? I just fucking made out with my boyfriend's best fucking friend, Ash! I can't believe i just did that to Andy! He'd never do that to me! If he finds out, he's gonna leave me i know it. God, he can't leave me." I whimpered, crying harder. I heard Ash sigh. Maybe it was because he's disappointed that i pushed him away. Or maybe he too just realized what he had done.
"And you wanna know what the worst part is?" I whispered, almost inaudibly. He nodded slightly.
"I liked it...."

@Red Phoenix77 i wrote this back when i was about 13 (im 18 now) but i assume that my thought process was that vampires weren't undead, they were very much alive. also, i was very inexperienced when writing this story so i didn't put too much thought into things. maybe i'll re-write it one day! :)
