Summary
Baylie was a poor girl in the middle of a rich neighborhood. She wasn't overly deprived, but there were a few nights a week she had to go hungry or sell something she'd rather keep. But when her mother's terminal illness takes a turn for the worse, she goes to drastic measures to afford the medecine she needs. Even if it means breaking into the Biersack manor.

The tall, over-controlling Manor King. Despite his bold, snarky shell, he is a caring and genuine man. He and his wife Joan are in perpetual dispute.
Baylie Anstead
Baylie is a hard-working girl who will do anything to help her mother out. She's timid and shy and tends to avoid talking to people.
Helena Anstead
Baylie's mother. Sick with an unfortunate terminal illness and expected a short lifespan. She is also on strict bedrest.
Joan Gillifrend
Andy's wife. A very stern, jealous woman who will stop at nothing to get Andy's full attention and business cooperation. Their martiage is extremely unstable, and Andy puts little effort into keeping her closel
