Liv's POV:

I fidgeted nervously in my seat, glancing anxiously out the airplane window. I had called Ashley from the NYC airport about an hour before my flight. He hadn't picked up, so I instead resorted to texting him a dozen times, emailing him, tweeting him, basically every form of social media that both he and I had.

I was terrified that maybe Ashley would leave me on his doorstep, not wanting to have me live with him so suddenly. Maybe he would despise me for my rash actions, and abandon me on the streets of L.A. Or... Maybe I was overthinking everything and Ashley would miraculously show up at the airport, with flowers and kiss me lovingly on the lips after being away from each other for so long.

the plane landed in LAX late that night, around 10pm. We were allowed off the plane quickly, making my stomach churn even more with every step closer to my seeing boyfriend.

I shakily walked over to the luggage claim area, and grabbed my small suitcase, (my other clothes would be shipped here next week) then I would walk towards arrivals. I stopped outside of the automatic doors which led to the arrivals area, I closed my eyes and took another shaky breath. My shallow breaths refused to calm my tingling nerves, and my legs wobbled under the weight of my body.

I exhaled deeply, and prepared myself for possibly the worst.

Then I stepped through the doorway.



The first thing I saw when I stepped through into the arrivals area was a certain Ashley Purdy, with a limo driver cap and a pair of aviator sunglasses masking his chocolate brown eyes. He held a small sign that read in black sharpie, 'Liv Purdy'.

I mi felt my eyes light up and my heart swelled at the sight of him, and I picked up my pace, rushing towards him. When I got close enough I dropped my suitcase and flung my arms around his neck, leaping into his arms.

Ashley grinned widely and clutched me tightly to his chest. I clung to my boyfriend, snuggling my blonde head into the crook of his neck.

"You're here," he breathed, nuzzling my shoulder affectionately.

"I am."

he kissed my temple lovingly and he pulled me to arms-length examining every inch of my body before smiling and pulling me back to his chest.

I stood up on my tiptoes and pulled his head down to meet my lips. I pressed my lips hard against him, allowing for all the passion I had to withhold this past month be released. And he responded, kissing back with even more intensity than I thought possible.

Finally, my lungs began to scream at me for air, and I pulled away, kissing his cheek and snuggling into his chest. After a few more moments of us in that position, we pulled away, but kept our hands interlocked. Ash smiled down at me and grabbed my suitcase tugging me towards the airport exit.

"Ready to go home Mrs. Purdy?"

I nodded eagerly.

We reached Ashley's black BMW and got in. As we began our drive to his-my home I finally asked, "by the way, what's with the whole 'Mrs. Purdy thing?"

He laughed, "figured it would get a reaction like this."

I nodded in agreement, then Ash interrupted my thoughts, "baby, I love you, but why the hell don't you ever pick up your fucking phone? I called you have a dozen times, and you didn't pick up!"

I freeze, suddenly aware that he just said that he loved me. My brain suddenly went into overdrive trying to figure out what to say next.

I check my phone to attempt to buy time and realize that I missed loads of messages and calls from my boyfriend.

I look up up into the dark sky and reach over to grasp his hand, "I love you too, Ashley. Let's go home."
