Bens POV: ------------ "get her in the fucking car!!" I screamed.Danny grabbed a limp amber in his arms and ran to my car.I climbed in the drivers seat and put the key in the ignition and stated the car."its okay amber,we're going to the hospital,your gonna be okay" Danny cried.before you say anything a$ber is like dannys little sister aswell he does not have a crush on her.I drove as fast as I could and we were at the hospital withing 10 minutes.I took amber from dannys arms and ran through the huge white doors."help me!! please!!"I yelled.a couple of doctors rushed over and took amber ibto a room,screaming words I'm not entirley sure the meaning of.me and the boys sat in the waiting room crying. Then a nurse came up to us. "excuse me but may I ask you a few questions in regards to the girl you brought in please".I nodded "name?" "amberlee Bruce " "age?" "19" "your relation?" "I'm her older brother" "okay,do you know what has happened?" I was about to say now when it all came flooding back.why amber was in LA in the first place. "our parents,they beat her.about 6 hours ago I was on the phone to her and she told me.I think that just before I called her they hurt her." I cried "for how long has this been going onmay I ask" "for about 5 years,after I left to LA with my band,I'm a horrible brother.I shouldve known.I'm so stupid" I yelled,tears rolling rapidly down my cheeks. "no,your not.don't think like that.thank you for your time"the nurse said as she left.I sat there scrying and crying."Ben,it gonna be okay.we're here.we're hurting to" James said,also crying,whilst hugging me.I just cried. -------------------------5 hours-------------------------------- Its been 5 hours and itt now 9am.I sat there staring emotionless at the wall. "family for amberlee Bruce" the nurse from earlier called out.me and the boys shot up. "here" we yelled in unison.ther nurse waved us over."well,amberlee is awake now.it turns out after being beaten she fell to the floor.this broke 4 of her ribs and caused some internal bleeding.she also had a blow to the head,no severe damage there though.she has a sprained wrist.she will be able to leave tomorrow.but she has lost a lot of blood.also as we were examining her we found scars and cuts up her arms and a few on her legs.we think they are self inflicted.we also think amberlee is suffering from depression from the abuse from her parents.could you talk to her?ask where they came from and why? Just to check"the nurse said as we walked to ambers door.my heart sunk.she cuts?that's it.I am a horrible brother.I'm so stupid.I just nodded and we went into ambers room. "hey sweetie,you have visitors" the nurse smiled. I saw amber sitting slightly upright on the bed,hooked up to so many machines and wires.she was pale,but not her usual beautiful porcelain pale,a sick,deathly pale .her eyes were icy instead of crystal.I felt tears rolling down my cheeks once more. "I'm so sorry" I sobbed as I sat beside amber.I put my head in my hands and reatedley said sorry."just shut up,its not your fault" amber said looking at me.I looked at her arms and sure enough,there were fresh cuts,pink and purple scars running all the way up her arms. "amber where did they come from" I asked pointing to her arms.she didn't say anything. "amber"I said sternly "I,did it" she whisperd,tears flowing out of her eyes "why" I asked "I deserve it,I mean why would everyone hate me and bully me if I didn't" she sobbed "amber you don't deserve this,any of it.you are a beautiful,smart,talented young woman and I'm so lucky to have you as a sister.you are my best friend and I don't want to ever lose you.you're amazing and I love you with all my heart.I don't every want you to hurt ever agin and I'll try my fucking best to make sure you don't.same with the boys.they hate seeing you upsaet and hurting,they are always there no matter what" I said taking her hand in mine "why do mum and dad hurt me then " amber sobbed "because they are horrible people who don't know what an amazing daughter they have". Amber looked at me "really?" "really" I smiled as did amber."amber,the hospital are going to have to put you on antidepressants to help you stop you hacking at your body,you know that right?"I asked,amber looked down asha$Ed and nodded. "don't worry,we're here for you.we'll help you through this" Cameron smiled. Amber looked and smiled gratefully at us all"thank you.do you think they'll prescribe me sleeping pills,I can't sleep propaly.I keep getting flashbacks everytime I close my eyes" "I'm sure we can do that" the nurse smiled as she walked into the room."you will leave tomorrow and that's when we can give you the medication,okay?" amber nodded. I am staying with amber every step of her recovery.
