I Want You Back: Questions
Alex's POV
It's weird, Scarlet hasn't been here since Monday morning, and it's Thursday. I decided to take the day off from work and go visit her. When I get there, Nicole answers the door in tears. "Nicole what's wrong?" I ask, letting myself inside.
"She's gone, Ricky and her dad are out looking for her." She says in sobs handing me a piece of paper. I read it and run out the door. There's only one place Scarlet would ever run away to.
New York.
I drive down to the airport and get on the next plane to New York. I'm gonna get her back.
Andy's POV
I've been in Seattle since Monday night, planning on what I was going to say to her. I was a complete dick the last time she saw me, I shouldn't have made that comment on her sex life. It was stupid and she might still be pissed about it. I'm just hoping she opened what I left for her and that's why she sent me the note. I get to her house and I see a car leaving. I knock on the front door and Nicole answers it crying. "Andy, you're here?" She asks through sobs. She lets me in and we both sit down.
"What's wrong, why are you crying?" I ask.
"Scarlet ran away and she left us this letter." She hands it to me. I read it and tears swell up in my eyes, but I refuse to cry.
"When did you find this letter?"
"Yesterday, but she's been gone much longer. Riley and Blake are out looking for her, they told me to stay here just in case. And Alex was just here, he just ran out the door after reading the letter."
"I don't understand, why would she run away?"
"One of you idiots knocked her up. You can't be there for her and the baby and Alex refused to be. I guess he had a change of heart this morning." I stand up.
"I got to go looking for her."
"Please stay here and wait with me, they'll find her."
"I can't wait, I have to find her and tell her that I would give up BVB if it means I get her back."
Scarlet's POV
(5 hours Later)
I've been just sitting around all day. I'm dressed, I've had breakfast, and everything but I don't want to go out today. My aunt decided to stay home with me today, don't know why though. I phone starts to ring, it's Alex. I answer it.
"What do you want?" I ask.
"You. Where are you staying?" He asks.
"I'm not telling you."
"Scar, I just took a five hour plane ride to come see you, tell me where you are."
"You're in New York?"
"Yes because I want you and I want the kid too."
"Meet me at Central Park, I'll be there soon."
"Good, can't wait." I hang up.
"Who was that?" My aunt asks.
"One of my potential baby daddies, he took a plane ride just to see me. I'll check in with you when I get there." I say. I grab my coat and wallet.
"But where are you going?"
"To the best part of New York." I walk to the park and sit on a bench. Behind me I hear a guitar. I turn around to see Alex.
"Even though she doesn't believe in love,
He's determined to call her bluff
Who could deny these butterflies?
They're filling his gut
Waking the neighbors, unfamiliar faces
He pleads though he tries
But he's only denied
Now he's dying to get inside
Forgive me, I'm trying to find

She's been running through my dreams
And it's driving me crazy, it seems
I'm going to ask her to marry me" Alex sings. I gets down on one knee in front of me. "So what do you say Scar? Will you marry me?" He asks. I'm speechless, he actually wants me, he wants to spend the rest of his life with me? "Scar?"
"I uh don't know what to say." I seriously don't.
"Say yes, move in with me, get married, and we'll have that little rugrat."
"Can you give me some time to think about it?"
"Of course."
"You can stand up now."
"Uh yeah." He gets up and sits next to me."So what are you doing today?"
"Hadn't made any plans, I was just gonna sit around all day and watch TV."
"In New York City? Come on."
"Where are we going?"
"I'm going to show you around one of the greatest cities in the world." We go see Lady Liberty, the Empire State Building, the Brooklyn Bridge, 5Pointz Aerosol Art Center, Radio City Music Hall, and then we started getting hungry so we got pizza at a place in Little Italy. "So have your views on New York changed?" Alex asks.
"Completely, but I prefer Seattle." I say.
"Then come home and at least move in with me."
"Alex I can see in your eyes that you don't want kids."
"But I want you and I'll do anything to get you back."
"Before we carry on this conversation, I'm going to give my aunt some pizza." I open the door and walk in.
"Hey, you brought food and a guy." My aunt states.
"Yes, but only the food is yours. I'll be back soon." I say.
"Okay." I walk out into the hall.
"You wanna go to the roof?" I ask.
"Sure. Have you seen the night view yet?" He asks.
"No, I've been going to sleep earlier."
"Oh you're going to love this."
We get to the roof of the apartment and my jaw drops. The whole city is lit up. My main focus lies on the glow coming from Times Square. "You love it?" He asks.
"It's beautiful!"
"I never got to say that I'm sorry about what I said to you on Monday, and that I'm sorry I hung up on you. I know you deserve better, but I'm never going to stop loving you."
"Alex I except your apology, but I'm just not sure whether I want to marry you."
"Open your hand." I do and he places something in it. "Please just think about it." He kisses my cheek and then he's gone. I open my hand to find a golden ring with a little white diamond.
The only question I have for myself is; am I ready to go home?
