My Romeo

Jake and I discussed the possibilities of Andy being a killer and it all added up. I love him even more now because he's willing to be in-prisoned for life just for my safety. I can't bring the subject up, Andy will never be honest with me, so I'll just show him how much he means to me. I give the waitress Ashley's number and Jake drops me off at school. The bell rings and I walk into Mr Motionless's class. I see Kellin sitting alone so I sit beside him.

"You feeling any better?" He asks.

"Much better and thanks for earlier."

"Isn't that what friends are for?"

"I guess. I've known Nicole for years and when I'm with you it feels different. A good different."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah"

"Can I ask you something?"

"You wanna kiss me?"

"Yes."

"Then don't ask, do it."

"But you have a boyfriend, it wouldn't be right."

"I have two actually."

"Who are you cheating on him with?"

"An older guy, he's graduated."

"Now I'm having second thoughts."

"Why?"

"Because I want you only if you want me. And if you don't, then I can't."

"You're a good guy Mr Quinn. I was starting to think you'd actually do something like that, but thanks for proving me wrong."

"So why are you cheating on Oliver?"

"I don't even know why I'm with him in the first place. He's nice and attractive, but I don't know, I'm not as attracted to him now that we're together. I feel like he's going to hurt me so badly near the end."

"What do you mean?"

"I'm not sure, but I know it's not going to last."

"Well maybe when you're done with those other guys, we can see a movie together."

"I'll take that into consideration."

"Alright class, time to begin on your projects." Says Mr Motionless as he enters the room.

"What project?" I ask Kellin.

"Don't worry about it. When you didn't show yesterday, I volunteered to be your partner. We have to make a banner of what we think of when we hear chemistry. It's really easy. The thing is that I don't want to just do a poster, I want to put it on other stuff too. I already made this cool design and maybe it can go on Tshirts. I mean if you want." Says Kellin.

"Sure, sounds like fun." Just then, Andy walks into the classroom and whispers something to Mr Motionless. Then looks over to me.

"Miss Kanes, you're needed by Mr Biersack." Says Motionless.

"Grab your stuff." Says Andy.
I nod, grab my bag and leave right behind him. He grabs a hold of my hand as we get into the hall. "Why'd you need Jake's number?"

"Because Andy."

"Please don't be childish with me."

"I'm not being Childish Andrew, we both have skeletons in our closets."

"Yes but I'm more open about mine."

"Really? Then tell me about Scout."

"No, you're not turning this around on me. If you want this, if you want me, then I need you to be honest."

"Okay fine. I've known Jake for awhile, three years actually, he's my friend and I needed to get a hold of him."

"There's something you're not telling me."

"And you aren't. You're lucky I even told you that much, I know what you did this morning. You killed them and resented to tell me."

"Killed who? Your parents?" I nod as we continue walking outside.
"I didn't kill them, I wish I had though."

"Don't lie to me Andrew, there's nothing I hate more than when a man lies to me."

"Fine, I admit I did it. Do you hate me now?"

"How could I ever hate the person who protected me from the monsters under my bed?" I hugged him, and the hug slowly released into a kiss. He was honest, which surprised me, when I thought he never would. His wall is breaking down, I can almost see the real him. Even if he is a killer.
