Heaven waits for no angels

AddiLynn's P.O.V

Wearing my favorite yellow sundress, curled my hair, and wearing a little more make up than usual without caking it on, I walked out the door to see Andy leaning against his car. "Beautiful! You ready?" I nodded in excitement, I hadn't gone out with a guy since high school. But it was also very nerve wracking, could I even trust this guy? I could feel the heat on my cheeks as I got into the car.

Andy was a gentleman even if he was a war paint wearing man who made everyone think he was this tough, arrogant man. Maybe, that's just what he wanted girls to think. As he was driving he looked over at me and smiled "I didn't know you could get more beautiful than yesterday."

He was so flirtatious and it was so easy for him to get butterflies into my stomach and heat on my cheeks. I bit my lip to try and get the color to go down. "I was thinking we could eat, then go on a walk in the autumn farm fields? I mean I don't want this to be just a date"- I cut him off. "Woah, who even said this was a date?!" I joked.
Andy, suddenly seeming upset, let out a fake laugh. Did I really have this much effect on him already? "It sounds lovely Andy. Thank you for this." He seemed so perfect already.

Andy's P.O.V

As we ate, we didn't really talk much about each other. But like I promised I answered some more of her questions. I couldn't help but admire how much she seemed to care about her job. She was definitely good at it, and she loved it.

"Ready?" I asked, eager to start our walk. As we headed towards the trails, we could already see all the beautiful leaves and the pumpkins patches. "Wow, this is so breathtaking!" She sounded astonished. I had to giggle. "Is it? Because something tells me it's really just you." I flirtatiously added. I watched as the amazement on her face changed to pink on her cheeks. Trying to stop me from starring, she changed the subject.

"So, tell me about yourself Andy." She said, not even making eye contact. She was to busy taking in the scene and I knew I had made the right decision bringing her here. "Okay well, this band is my life, I don't really do much that doesn't involve it. But someday, I'm hoping to settle down and start a family. Be kinda normal since this whole band had even started. How about you?"
The smile disappeared from her face like a snap of a finger, as if she had no idea I would ask that. She looked down at her shoes, "My....My life's complicated." She stated. I knew then and there she wasn't the average girl, she had a background. But that background was a nightmare for her.

"I never really had any friends or someone to talk to. I was the nerd. Happy to be by myself. All the time." She looked up at the sky. Knowing that was all I was gonna get from her I didn't pressure her more. Bitting her lip, she started to shake. "Hey it's okay." I cooed. "Sorry I'm not that interesting." She frowned. I smiled "Let's go play in the leaves like friends do." I hoped to get a cheerful smile from her frown, and I did.
"Andy! Betcha I can ruin that pile of leaves and jump in before you can!" AddiLynn cheered, catching my playful attitude. She was having fun, and suddenly that's all I cared about anymore. "Let's do it together!" I said slowly, but confidently reaching for her hand. She noticed and looked down. I watched as her puzzled face showed she thought for a minute, then slowly placed her hand into my palm. My hand was much bigger than hers. Her hands were so tiny and delicate. Like the beautiful figure she had. "ONE, TWO, THREE!!!" We shouted in Harmony and ran into the huge pile of leaves.

Leaves flying everywhere, we laid together on the ground and giggled away. Side by side, facing each other. "Thank you for bringing me here, I've had so much fun." She whispered. Her smile so bright it could outlaw the sun. Happiness and feelings I'd never felt before filled through me. "You're just to beautiful to resist anymore." I whispered, then leaned into a kiss.
