I looked down at my phone again. "I'm tired of this shit. You've been gone for way to long. You're my wife, and you're gonna start acting like it!"

It was just words on a IPhone screen, but I knew the tone of voice those words possessed. And it was scary. I looked up at the atmosphere, to the heavens and gave a short gasp for help, and prayer for a miracle. I took a deep breath.

Street sign, a street sign. Where is the fucking street sign? I can't seem to find Callenbaugh Ave. anywhere. Where is Callenbaugh Ave. from here?! Relax AddiLynn, don't let the panic take over.

My phone vibrates again and it makes my numb hands feel like they're on fire. "She's crying. This is sad Sarah, get here now." He never learned my name. I am NOT Sarah.

Run AddiLynn, run your fucking ass off. I have has asthma for over 14 years. It caused me to never participate in gym when I did still go to school. I was medically not suppose to run at all, but she needed me.


I have to.


Here it is, Callenbaugh Ave. now, where is 206? The houses all looked the same on this street and it was hard to vividly tell what the address is. Oh my god!

My heart nearly jumped out of my chest. The door was open. Acting on pure adrenaline, like I was all night, I went inside.



"Aubrey," a man's voice called out, "mommy's home."
