Andley One-Shots

One Bed

-Third Person POV focusing on Ashley-

"What?! I'm afraid there's been a mistake. We booked three rooms, two with two single beds, and one with one single," Jinxx informed the lady at the front desk of the hotel Black Veil Brides would be staying in for a few nights. There appeared to be a booking misunderstanding that would cause two members to share a bed. The short, brunette woman with her hair up in an exotic bun shook her head.
"I'm sorry," she apologized with a heavy accent. "But that is what we wrote down, and this is all that is available. Unless you would like to stay somewhere else-"
"No," Jinxx cut her off, sighing while rubbing his forehead. "We'll-we'll share." She nodded and handed them the room keys. As Jinxx walked back to the rest of the exhausted group, a sudden smile crept on his face. Two of them would be forced to share a bed together, and it sure as hell wouldn't be him.
"Alright, so here's the deal: there was a booking mistake and we still have three rooms, but one has a double bed instead of two singles. I'm certainly not sharing."
"Not it!" CC cried in response.
"Not it!" Jake chimed in immediately afterwards.
"Not it... Ah, fuck," Ashley realized aloud that he would be sharing a bed with Andy. Andy slapped him on the back.
"Well dude, I hope you don't hog all the blankets." Ashley nodded, swallowing hard to help his suddenly dry throat before replying.
"As long as you don't snore," he tried to joke back as they made their way up to the room, which was across the hall from Jake and Jinxx's, along with CC. CC had the room with the one single because honestly, the man did crazy things in his sleep. Also slept naked, and none of them wanted to see that. Andy unlocked the door with the room key, while Ashley held in his nervousness. Why Andy? Why did it have to be Andy, of all people? He thought to himself, groaning internally as they entered the room.
“Mind if I shower first?” Andy asked, pulling Ashley out of his regrets.
“What? Uh, yeah, sure, that’s fine,” Ashley stuttered, dropping his bags on the floor and collapsing on the bed to think. He sighed as he heard the water turn on. He was going to share a bed with Andy, the person he was in secretly in love with. Andy, the straight male who had just experienced a painful breakup with his girlfriend and wanted no talk of romance whatsoever from anyone. Of course, Ashley completely respected that, but he had been hoping to come out to him sometime soon, and now he had to force himself to wait, to choke down the burning truth for another couple months. And now, he was sharing a bed with him. Ashley quickly made a mental list of reminders.
1.Don’t get into deep conversations
2.Make sure there is a wall of pillows between us
3.Go to sleep as fast as possible
4.Hold in all comments that a straight man would not say
5.Don’t hog the blankets
6.Keep to yourself
7. DON’T STARE AT HIM WHILE HE’S ASLEEP

It was at that precise moment when the water turned off and Andy stepped out of the shower, clothed only by a small hotel towel wrapped around his waist. Ashley felt his heart skip a beat as Andy took a step toward him, only to say “hey, Ash, your turn.” Ashley nodded and bit his lip, walking off to the shower in determination to survive the night without spilling his secret. He finished his shower, brushed his teeth, and stripped down to his boxers, all while managing not to say a word. He collapsed on the bed with what Andy believed to be a sigh of exhaustion, not a sigh of wishing. Andy climbed into bed on the opposite side. Mmm. Andy. Only in boxers. Sharing a bed with me. Ashley gripped the blankets much tighter than he needed to as Andy reached over to switch off the light. Ashley twisted the other way, only to find that his face and Andy’s were separated by mere inches. Just a little closer and… No! Ashley thought, resisting the urge to kiss the beautiful man he loved.
“You ok?” Andy asked him, concern in his growing puppy eyes. God, why did he have to make it worse by trying to make it better?
“Yeah, yeah, I’m fine. Just tired,” Ashley lied, nearly bursting with the desire to tell him what he really felt.
“Ok,” Andy responded, turning over on his back to face the ceiling, hugging a pillow close to his chest while Ashley wished he could be that pillow. “I-I just-“ Andy’s voice broke into a quiet sob, and Ashley was struck with worry, instantly breaking many rules to comfort his crying band mate.
“Hey, hey, it’s alright,” he whispered, pulling away the pillow walls and moving a little closer to Andy. “Tell me what’s wrong.” Before Ashley knew what was happening, Andy twisted around and hugged Ashley, crying and holding him tight. Ashley was very surprised, but hugged him back. What could this mean? Did-did he like him back?!
“I-Juliet,” Andy stuttered, choking on her name as Ashley’s heart sank. Of course he doesn’t love you. How could he? He wouldn’t even date you if you were a girl, Ashley scolded himself.
“Shh, it’s ok. I promise it’s ok,” Ashley told him, gladly letting Andy’s head nuzzle up against his neck and cry on his shoulder.
“I miss her so much. I don’t know what went wrong. I was thinking of proposing to her, all while she cheated!” He said bitterly, taking a break from his heavy tears.
“You were going to propose to her and she was cheating on you?”
“Yeah,” he whispered. “I wanted to marry her. But she wanted to date some other guy.”
“Oh god, I am so sorry, Andy. I had no idea,” Ashley replied, shocked and enraged at Juliet. How could she?! That little bitch was so lucky to have Andy, she had no fucking idea how much I would do to trade places with her. And she gave him up? For another guy? Ungrateful, he cursed internally. Andy continued to cling to Ashley, crying a little longer before falling asleep like that in his arms. Oh, what I would give up to have him feel the same way, Ashley mourned before drifting off.

Notes

****I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST JULIET, SHE AND ANDY ARE ADORABLE TOGETHER, THIS JUST FIT FOR THE STORY****

Ok so my sister didn't like the ending, so I let her write an alternate one, here's what she wrote-

"Then suddenly, Andy gave birth to a whale. Ashley cuddled the whale, bringing it closer to his heart."

I'm not good with 6th graders, SOMEONE TELL ME IF SHE'S OK.
