My alarm sounds. I tried to hit the snooze button but failed miserably like everything else I do with my life. After about five minutes of obnoxious beeping I finally got up and headed for the bathroom to take a nice calming shower. As the warm soothing waters spattered against my skin I started thinking over my past life. “ Boy am I glad my school years are over!” I still get messages though from old friends asking things like “What am I doing right now?” and “How have I been?” Our parents died in a car accident a little while back. Most people wouldn’t have guessed because we seem almost unaffected. Most days i’m just glad that I still have Ronnie. “Aurora, Why the hell are you taking so long?” called Ronnie from the other side of the door. “ Shut up! I'm almost done! Don’t get your panties in a bunch.” I said almost cracking up at what he said next “ They’re boxers not panties thank you very much.” “Whatever, Is Miranda here yet?” I said “Not just yet. I’ll tell you when she gets here.” I hurried and put on my eyeliner along with some of my favorite black smokey eyeshadow. I don’t look like a racoon. Do I ? When I finally finished Ronnie called for me. I ran down the stairs in a flash. And by a flash I mean I spent almost five minutes slowly walking so I wouldn’t trip and fall on my face like last time. “ Hey Miranda! “ I said almost too loudly “It’s about time you got down here.” Said Ronnie starting to look pissed. “Oh shut it! Come on Miranda.”
