Just The Boy Next Door

~DJ and CC POV~

Andy's parents had been gone for about a day; having them there was a wonderful thing. Amy took me shopping for clothes for my first trimester, a pack and play, and some various baby necessities. Reassuring me that she will see me for the baby shower, I felt good about our relationship. My mom and his got along swimmingly as did our dads, which made us feel a thousand times better about things.
As it neared the end of January, I felt the pressure of needing to find a doctor; I had no pregnant or young mom friends, and the doctor my mom had for all of us was retired. I was up to my eyebrows in ideas for baby names, hospitals, and birthing centers that I plumb forgot about myself.

Making my way downstairs from searching online for places to register Andy and I at for the new addition, I made my way into the livingroom. Looking at the wall, I could see it adorned in baby pictures, cards, and various other memerabilia.
Realizing I had zoned off, I turned back to enter the kitchen and just about ran into Andy who had been standing in the archway with his tablet out for the past few minutes. His brow was furrowed and tongue sticking out to the left side; he was concentrated on something.
"Hey, you," I leaned in and kissed his cheek before turning to his tablet.
"Hey, princess," he smiled at me, and waved me over to the kitchen table to sit with him.
Finally seated, the two of us were looking at his Google search results for all things baby.
"I was up most of the night last night," he nodded to the screen, "I bookmarked some pages with alternative maternity clothes and organic baby sites. Hell, I even found a website for young, new and single dads, all expecting or have newborns; well, that's the largest section, anyway."

Impressed, I looked at him as he continued to talk; my future husband and father of my child. He was such a beautiful person. His hair was jet black though it wasn't his natural hair color. Andy was a natural sandy brown brunette, which made me giggle every time the thought popped in my head. I just couldn't picture him with brown hair, even thought he would be just as handsome. Moving my gaze further down, I stopped at his eyes; they were an intense, icy blue that could peer into your mind and tell exactly what you were thinking. I couldn't help but hope our baby had his eyes, or a mix of mine and his; a sea-green with a hint of ice blue. Stopping at his nose, I smirked; it was more than perfect for his slender face and high-placed cheek bones.
My eyes stopped at last, but not least, his mouth; his pearly white teeth impressed me, knowing how much we smoke daily. That, and his lips were always a full, bright blush, just waiting to be love.
Coming to from my ten minutes of day-dreaming, I realized that Andy had put together an entire maternity outfit for me, shoes and all, and had his credit car out, ready.
"Baby, what are you doing?" I arched a brow.
"My girl is going to be the best dressed mom-to-be..." he entered in the sixteen digit card number followed by the security code, "... if I can help it, that is."
Smiling, he clicked the check-out button.

Smirking at his ability to make me feel like I owned the world, I shook my head and kissed him on the temple before making my was out onto the porch. I needed some fresh air, and felt it necessary to finish my pack of cigarettes before I couldn't enjoy the poisonous smoke anymore. I lit the slender, white stick of tobacco and additives and sat down on the steps, slowly exhaling my first puff. Not long after, Andy joined me only to be beckoned back inside for a short stint by his leather jacket. Sitting next to me, he snuggled into my side and lit his.
"So, what do you think life will be like with a baby, Deege?" he exhaled his drag of smoke into the air and turned to look at me
"I don't really know," I leaned back and looked down at the pooch already starting to form, "Right now, I need to find a doctor."
"Yea..." his voice trailed a bit.
"What, baby?"
"I kind of looked up doctors and their numbers; they are on the kitchen table." resting his head in his hand, he tried to conceal the blush of excitement.
"You are so fucking cute," I looked on as he acted like it was his birthday all over again.
"Okay," he sighed, "So, I am kind of excited about all of this."
He got up and began to pace the front yard.
"Well, my love, I'm going to go look at those numbers and call a few." I pouted as I got up, wanting him to come in with me.
Smiling, Andy stopped pacing and walked over to the step I was standing on. His lips me mine, creating the same spark they did that Friday in August.
"I love you, Biersack." I ruffled his hair.
"I love you, too, princess."

Before we could enter our doorway, blue sedan rolled up to the curb next door with a familiar woman in the driver's seat.
"Baby..." Andy's voice wavered slightly.
"What?" I looked at him, worried.
"That looks like your aunt," he looked from the car and back to me, wide eyed, "That looks like Maggie."
Swallowing hard and grabbing his hand, we ran next door and into the frat house, bolting it behind us.
Startling CC and Selena, who were watching a movie, and Jake and Naomi, who were doing a puzzle together, we tried to catch our breath from our short sprint.
"Lena," I panted, "Do not go outside..."
"But, why?" Selena looked confused.
"Your mom is out side," Andy managed to speak, "She is outside of this house."
Andy's expression changed from worried to pissed.
"Well," CC spoke at he stood up, "Let's work on taking Selena's Xbox next door and some games, like nothing is really wrong."
Nodding towards Andy, CC waited for an answer.
"Fine," he grumbled, "but if she starts shit with my pregnant wife to be, I'm kicking her ass."
"Noted." CC opened the door and the two of them left.
Now, all we had to do was wait.

~CC~

I headed down the front steps with Andy in tow; looking back I could see the three girls in the living room window, Jake looking out the storm door. Making our way back to Andy and DJ's, indeed sat a car that held the Bitch of the West, as Selena called her. I was glad the girls chose to stay inside; while I was worried about Selena's safety, DJ was pregnant. It would kill me to have anything happen to her any their baby. That, and I don't want one of my best friend's to go to jail today.
As we crossed the small patch of grass between our houses, I was so lost in thought I didn't hear the woman call out to me.
"Hey, dude," Andy grabbed my shoulder and nodded his head towards her, "She wants to speak to you; I'm right here if you need me."
"Thanks, man," I patted his shoulder and made my way towards Maggie.
Making my way over to the frat house lawn, I stopped. The woman got out of the car and made her way around to the other side, a safe distance from me. She looked like she used to be a CEO of some company, but her hair was now a mousy brown, starting to grey in places. While I was right about the "used to be" part, she still played the CEO game well enough, suit and all.
"Yes, ma'am?" I shoved my hands in my pockets, "How can I help you?"
My heart was now pounding away in my chest; this woman scared me because she scared Selena. At the same time, she pissed me off worse than any imbecilic individual I had ever met.
"Do you know me daughter, Selena?" Her eyes narrowed as she crossed her arms in front of her chest.
"What is her last name, ma'am?" I shifted my weight as I heard Andy place the Xbox down on the porch and make his way towards me.
"Don't play coy with me, boy. I know you are dating my daughter; I saw her with you." Her face scrunched in disgust, "Selena, Selena James."
"Yea," I scoffed, "I might be her boyfriend. That, and I might have heard of you, and might of heard your voice mails you left her."
"Little bitch," She muttered just loud enough, "She thinks she can keep me from what is mine; thinks she can get over on me, huh?"
The woman had to have taken something; she stumbled and her eyes were blood shot.
As I looked on, Andy placed a hand on my shoulder and scowled at the woman angrily.
"Andy," CC announced loudly, "You remember Miss Maggie from that lovely Christmas get together you went to with DJ?"
"I wish I could forget," Andy spit on the ground, eyeing the woman in a rage, "Yea, unfortunately, I remember the bitch."
"Listen here, you pieces of punked out trash," she ranted, "I will not have you influencing my daughter this way! She was bred better than this!"
"She is also deserving of a mother who treats her like a person, and not a fucking dog like you do. A parent that loves her for her, not wanting to live vicariously through her."
Something inside me broke and I was shouting so loud it got the attention of Jinxx, who was listening to his headphones.
"I cannot stand how you talk to her! She isn't fucking property, she is a human being with feelings. You are such a good for nothing piece of shit for not fucking seeing that."
While it felt good to say it, I felt bad for disrespecting a woman, and one far older than me at that.
"I agree, Mags," Andy used air quotes, "After what you said to me and how you treated DJ, I don't believe you are even worth Selena's time or effort."
Looking at Andy, I was startled by the bulging veins on the sides of his head. DJ told me about this, and I suddenly feared he would do something stupid.
Jake and Naomi slowly crept out the back door and went through the neighbor's yard to pick up beer for everyone, minus DJ, after this; apparently, they knew we would need it. I glanced over Maggie's shoulder a ways and saw them enter the corner store, warning those heading this direction.
"MY daughter is MY property!" the woman pulled a legal document out of her bag, "however, the ungrateful shit had this sent to me!"
From the distance Andy and I were standing, I could barely make out the small print, but the bold words "Restraining Order" on the top of the page screamed at me. Why would she hide this from me?
"Then why are you fucking here?" Andy's voice was shaky, looking like he could snap any second.
"I wanted to show her... tell her... this shit isn't over. None of it!"
Turning to race back to the driver's seat, she almost ran down Jake and Naomi who were making their way back carefully.
"Move out of my way, you fucking scum." She spat on the ground, glaring at them as she moved towards her car door.
After getting in the driver's seat, the mad woman begin to drive away, Jake kicking the rear bumper off in the process.
"I don't like that woman." He spoke plainly as he waved at her, Maggie flicking him off as she drove out of sight.

Notes

Maggie is back, but for how long? What will she do, and how far will she go this time?

@IzzieDeadnow

Thank you. Naomi was actually him through and through. Some of her sayings and everything, minus the black/asian race. He was obsessed with a Jpop singer that was black and asian though, which why I chose that. I miss him, but he will always be with me.

I love the story so much, and I'm sorry for your loss @HisPorcelainDoll.
