I Guess Dreams Can Come True

4 HOURS LATER

I looked over to see the time, it was about 9 at night.

” Oh, I’d better go, I’m really sorry, but it’s like 9:00 already…” I said, a bit tired. We had been sitting here for a while now, just singing to eachother, talking… about pretty much everything.

“Sorry, I didn’t realize the time. But you must be pretty hungry, want to order in pizza and watch a movie first?” I was just about to say no, but I had to admit, I was pretty hungry, and a movie with him didn’t seem too bad.

“Sure, why not?” I said. Andy smiled.

“Okay, I’ll order the pizza!” Cc popped around the corner of the door frame, I jumped a bit.

“CC, DUDE!” Andy yelled, not mad, just annoyed, and making it clear to CC that he shouldn’t have been spying on us.

“What the hell?!… Cc, how long have you been snooping on us?!” I yelled too, but in the same tone as Andy.

“Oh, just on and off, and it wasn’t just me” He giggled, then 4 guys were now in the door way, including Cc.

“Hey, Ash, how long have you been here?” Andy said, calming down now.

“A bit after you guys arrived I’ve been told.” Ashley replied.

“Okay, now get out, order the pizza, will you? That’s the most you can do right now.” Andy said, not really talking to anyway specific. Then all 4 guys scurried off, in a hurry.

“Sorry about that..” Andy said with a smirk to me.

“It’s fine, they seem pretty cool, I smiled. Andy then got up, put up the acoustic, the held out his hand for me to get up with him, I took his hand, then we both got up, but I stumbled forward a little bit, and he caught me, then we were looking each other in the eyes, we were both quiet. Oh god… no… no… this can’t be happening, I don’t like Andy, and he doesn’t like me, we are okay just being friends, I’m not going to disappoint him, and I’m not going to ruin our friendship because of what, because of a kiss? Nope, not going to let it happen. I pulled away and gave him a sorry look, he looked a little disappointed, but I would rather make him a little disappointed right now, than make him his disappointed by a lot more, but later on. I fake smiled, hoping to change the topic.

“Uhm.. the uhhh… the movie! What would you like to watch?” He gave me a confused look at first, then realized what I was trying to do, and played along.

“I really don’t mind, what do you want to watch?” he said.

“The original batman?” I asked, knowing the answer.

“Yes!” He yelled with excitement. I laughed, then realized I was being slung over Andy’s back, he carried me over his shoulder and into the front room, with me yelling for him to put me down, even though I was just playing around, and I was laughing like a complete idiot. Then we fell to the couch, both laughing hysterically. We sat there for a minute or so, just laughing and trying to contain the laughter, then Andy popped off the couch and looked through a stack of what I’m assuming was movies, then he pulled out a movie, and put it in the DVD player, and the movie started, and he came back down and sat with me, we watch the movie for about 10 minutes, neither one of us really talking through the movie, then we heard the doorbell. We both shot up from where we were sitting, and ran to the door, and of course the got there first.

“Pizza!” He yelled and all the guys came running in like a pack of hungry, wild dogs.

“Hey! Back off…” Andy growled at them, in a playful tone. Then he took off running, grabbing me lightly again, to go with him, and we both ran back upstairs with the pizza, and went into the music room again, and we locked the door behind us. We sat in there for only about 10 seconds before we heard a bang on the door, and the door knob was shaking wildly.

“Come on. We want to pizza toooo!!!” Jinx yelled, and the other guys joined in with a “yeah!”.

“Nope, our pizza!” Andy yelled towards the door. He got up with the pizza and waved it by the door so the guys could smell it too.

“Wow, amazing pizza right, Kate?” then he winked at me, insisting on me to join in.

“Yeah! This is soo good! Yum, wish you guys could have some too!” I played along. We stayed in the room for the next 10 minutes or so, just eating away, making sure not to eat all of it, we couldn’t be that cruel. But the whole time we ate we could hear the guys just outside of the door, begging for the pizza.

“Don’t you think we have tortured them enough?” I said to Andy, laughing.

“Fine!” He said laughing too. We opened the door slowly, and without the door being open an inch, it was ripped open by the guys, then the pizza was snatched out of Andy’s hands, without Andy even trying to get it back, we both laughed like maniacs, then headed back downstairs to watch the rest of the movie, but we didn’t get to the movie, without getting a few playful glares from the guys on our way. We both sat down for the movie, then the guys came in not much later to watch it with us too, and we all ended up laying down on a small blanket in the front room. This was it, this was it… All of my life I have lived without feeling welcomed anywhere, feeling unwanted, and everyone here welcomed me, it was an amazing feeling.

Just as I was about to fall asleep I heard Ashley say “Love you, Kate, goodnight.” Then all of the other guys joined in too, I was just so shocked…

“You too…” I said, then fell asleep.

ANDY’S POV


Tonight was pure perfection! I think I really love Kate, I mean… I may not have known her for that long, but while we were upstairs we talked… a lot. About her past, my past, everything… And I understand her, and she understands me. And when we laid down, it was even better, she said she loved me, and I said I loved her too, this is just… perfect.
