I Guess Dreams Can Come True

I got all of the other things put away, who knew this would be so exhausting?! I walked back into our room and plopped myself onto the bed, landing on my bed and sighed. I was so tired, then I looked at my phone to see it was shortly after 8:00 p.m, well Andy is probably awaiting me… ‘But I’m so tired!’ I wined to myself. I laughed, I’m so lazy sometimes. I got up and went downstairs, then realized I didn’t have a car to use. I pulled out my phone and called Cc, he told me he would be here soon to pick me up then we would drive straight over to the hospital to pick up my love. I was so excited to see him, I hate being away from him. Being torn away from him is my only nightmare now. I sat on the front porch steps and waited for Cc, then he got here. I jumped straight up from where I was sitting and ran to get into Cc’s car, and I guess he was excited too because he wanted to get out of here and to Andy as soon as possible as well. The car ride was mostly quite, then we arrived at the hospital.

“Hey, I hate to ask you of this, but I think I’ll just have Andy and I go home in the bus they provide, so if you could…” I tailed off, and Cc understood with a smile then headed off, he was such a good person and a great friend to Andy. All of them were, I’m glad he has them to count on. I watched Cc leave, then headed inside and nodded to Alex cheerfully and she knew what I meant.

“He’s eager to get out of here and be home with you, that’s all he’s been talking about since you left.” Alex told me with a small laugh. I gave a huge smile and walked into Andy’s room, he stood up and ran straight over to me, picked me up and kissed me. I willingly kissed him back and blushed. I guess he noticed my blush too, because he smiled.

“You don’t know how long I’ve wanted to do that.” He said to me with what looked like a mixture of a smirk and a goofy big smile.

“I love you.” I said as a fact to Andy.

“I love you more.” He responded without hesitation. I was just about to protest when Alex walked in.

“He can go home whenever, we did all of the paper work while you were gone.” She said, obviously knowing that she had interrupted us, but it was important for us to know.

“Okay, thanks.” I told her with a smile, hoping she would know I was very thankful for all the help she’d been while Andy and I were in here. Andy sat me down and I looked at him.

“These are the clothes you were wearing the night you saved me.” I blushed again, realizing he was my batman. He blushed too.

“Well, I wouldn’t call it that, but yes, these are the clothes I was wearing the night of the accident. Finally I can be in my own clothes.” He said loud enough for people outside to hear, I laughed lightly.

“C’mon, let’s go home!” I said with great excitement.

“Yes!” He yelled, but then he paused.

“Can we go by the studio first? Get Stitch? He seems like he would enjoy now our home.” He said with a hopeful smile.

“Tomorrow.” I said willingly. He nodded then took my hand in his and we started walking for the door, so we could catch the bus to go home.

ANDY’S POV

I grabbed Kate’s hand, and started walking with her to the doors to catch the bus to go home. Even her hand was soft and welcoming. How was she so perfect?! We got outside and I saw down on the curb, pulling Kate with me, but catching her, because I didn’t want her hitting the ground hard, and I pulled her into my lap then wrapped my arms around her into a bear hug, and we both just stared into the sky, looking at the stars, then the bus got here. Kate turned around and got up, allowing me to get up too. We got on the bus and talked about everything, then we got home. Home, sweet home. I can now truthfully call it that because Kate will be there too. It pulled up to right in front of… OUR… house now, and Kate and I got out, thanking the driver then we walked up to the door, I unlocked it, and before Kate could even start walking inside or so anything I picked her up, he legs on one arm, and her upper body in my other. She laughed her little cute giggle.

“Andy!” She wined to me.

“Yes, love?” I said innocently, knowing what she was wining about. She just laughed again and finally embraced that I wasn’t going to let her down. I carried her straight upstairs, and laid her down on the bed, then kissed her.

“I’m going to go take a shower, okay?” I told Kate as she lay there still laughing.

“Okay.” Was all she could manage out with her small adorable laughs. I nodded, then went to my closet, I opened it and was surprised at first, then I remembered it wasn’t just my clothes that would be in here anymore. I grabbed a pair of batman boxers, and black pants, then headed for the shower. I closed the door behind me. I put down my clothes I wasn’t wearing and turned on the shower, then got undressed and got into the shower. I had just gotten into the shower when I heard Kate giggle again. What now? Then I heard music being turned on, then she turned it off again. I just laughed and continued with my shower. I soon got out, dried myself off with the towel then put on my clothes I picked out, no shirt because I never wore one to bed. I came out and ran my hand through my hair, and I didn’t see Kate right away, then I walked into my closet because there was a dirty clothes bin in there, so I could put mine in there, and I found Kate dressing in there, she noticed me then quickly grabbed a shirt to cover herself up, I laughed then put my head down, showing her I wouldn’t look. She grabbed a shirt then she was covered up, and I lifted my head, she gave me wide eyes, and I laughed.

“It’s fine, Kate!” I said with laughs, trying to reassure her. She just nodded her head slightly then walked past me. I threw my dirty clothes into the bin, then followed behind her. I grabbed her by the waist lightly, pulling her back to me, and I kissed her, she blushed but didn’t say anything, then continued walking again.
