I Guess Dreams Can Come True

Kate’s mother looked over at me quickly with big eyes.

“I forgot to tell you, time speeds up here! Come on! Do something!” She yelled in panic.

With that I couldn’t take it anymore, a single tear streamed down on my face and landed in Kate’s bright red hair. I was hoping not to cry in front of her dad, but… I guess it happened. I felt something sharp in my chest, in my heart. I looked over just in time to see Kate’s mother with a wide smile on her face, then I heard her father say the only thing I heard him say the whole time.

“Remember, I can see what you guys do.” Shit.

Then I saw a bright light, and I felt like I couldn’t breathe all the sudden, then I remembered I hadn’t noticed it then, but I couldn’t feel myself breathing at all when I was with them, but now I could feel that I was supposed to be breathing then I couldn’t. I gasped for air all at once, and made a loud noise not on purpose doing so, but I did. Then I felt all the precious air I didn’t have before rush into my lungs. I sat up quickly from where I was laying and looked around quickly to see the whole room go silent, Kate was being dragged out of the room buy the guys who had tears streaming down their faces with Kate and a nurse with her jaw on the floor. After looking at the nurse I whipped my head to look at Kate again quickly. She stood there silent and still too, then she pushed both of Cc’s and Jinx’s hands off her wrists and ran over to me, breaking the stillness and silence.

“Andy!” She said with tears in her eyes again from joy.

“K-Kate!” I tried to say, but was too stunned and confused as to what just happened for it to come out correctly.

LATER THAT DAY

The nurses scotched all of them out of the room so that they could do some tests and stuff on me, but they came with an outcome that I was going to live, for sure, and I would actually be going home soon, and that I’m somewhat of a miracle. This is all just so… insane really… I can’t believe I actually talked to… Kate’s parents… that I was dead… wow. I was going to tell Kate about knowing her parents and such but I decide against it because I know that would just bring up old memories and it would just add even more of an impact to the stress in her life.

KATE’S POV

HOLY FUCK!!!! Andy lived! I looked at his motionless body, and the nurse was walking straight over to the small computer by him so she could shut off well… his life… then he jumped up and gasped… he was alive! Heh, he pulled a Frankenstine’s monster.

A WEEK LATER

I was sitting in the same room with Andy that I had been in him with a week ago when I thought for sure my love was gone, then he was alive. Andy was laying down in his bed, talking to me when the doctor came in.

“Great news! You’ll be leaving today, Andrew!” Andy almost flipped a table when he heard that, he hadn’t been able to do anything for a week and a half, almost 2 weeks now, and he would finally be getting to go home… with me!

-FLASHBACK TO 3 DAYS AGO-

I was laying down across from Andy in an upraised cot that the nurses put up for me, considering I was sleeping there every night since he got in here, only leaving to go home for 20 minutes each day or so to take a shower and bring new clothes for the next day for me. Andy on the other hand I think is going bat crazy, because he couldn’t put on anything except a hospital gown every day. I laughed at that thought slightly.

“What’s my darling laughing at?” He asked with his amazing smile… god, anything he did made me get butterflies in my stomach.

“Nothing.” I said simply, replying back with a smile too. We laid there for a bit, looking into each other’s eyes with awe.

“I wish I could do this every morning, be with you, be able to see you at my leisure.” I said with a sigh.

“Why not?” He said with his half smile and with a touch of hope in his voice.

“W-What?” I said stuttering, because I was hoping that I was correct on what he was about to say.

”Why not wake up with me every morning? Be able to see me at your leisure? Kate?” He said smiling wildly now.

“Yes?” I said with even more hope than I did before and a huge smile on my face too now.

“Kate, will you be my girlfriend, and with that move in, my sweet perfection?” When he said that it was like gold words. A smile was now clearly on my face, and was there for a while too.

“Yes!” I yelled in excitement.

“Yes!” He yelled too, in excitement as well. I giggled, like a little girl on Christmas morning again.
