The Fallen One

Andy's POV: After the concert was over, we all head back to the bus, where I settle in at the table, and pull out my song book. I really want to write something for Lexi, maybe to show her what life is really like, but the words just aren't there. At least they weren't until I overheard her talking to Ashley and CC in the bunk area.
"I don't know. I want to get back into Heaven, but at the same time, I want to stay here. On Earth. I want to be free to be me, not stuck following a certain set of rules and risk getting my wings ripped off again," she says.
"Alright. Easier question. Where does your faith stand right now?" Ash asked.
"I know it's real, but my faith in it...Well, that's gone. I don't want to be the faithless one though," she tells them.
"You won't be. Not if you don't want to be anyway. Trust me, I felt the same way when I fell," Ash says, softly.
"All Fallen Angels go through a stage like this. You can ask Ashley, Andy, or even Juliet," I hear CC chime in finally.
"Juliet?" Lexi asked, confusion clear in her voice.
"Yeah. Andy's girl," Ashley clarifies for her.
"Oh," Lexi says, then asked, "Why'd she fall, if I may ask?"
"She was born a Witch, just like Jinxx was born a Warlock. As many of us know, their kind isn't really allowed in Heaven, because of the possible dark energy they possess, right?" CC explains.
"Yeah. I've read up on it a bit," Lexi says.
"Make a long story, shorter, Michael found her practicing one night. They didn't even put her on trial, just took her wings," Ash tells her, and I feel my stomach churn. I remember that day all too well.
*Flashback*
The guys and I were just coming out of the small studio, where we were finishing up our first album We Stitch These Wounds. CC wasn't with us at the time, but Sandra was. She had never seen a Fallen Angel outside of Ash and myself, but that night, we all did.
I had this unnerving feeling in the pit of my stomach. Almost like I was Falling all over again, but I was firmly on the ground.
I heard a blood curdling scream from above, and suddenly a beautiful young woman was in Ashley's arms. Her white robes had blood covering her back, and she looked up at Ashley then me in shock. She was shaking uncontrollably, and whenever she would try to talk, she stammered too much for us to make out what she was trying to say.
She then screamed, clawing at her back, and I knew what had happened to her. She was a Fallen Angel, and now she was getting her wings.
Long, black leather wings rose out from either side of her one piercing through her back, and I couldn't help but stare in awe. I had just Fallen around the same time, and was just getting used to all of the insanity that came with being a Fallen.
"Wh-What's happening to m-me?" she cries out, clearer now.
"Relax. You're just getting your wings," I tell her, brushing her hair back from her face, and saw the terror on her features. Her eyes, large, over flowing with tears. Her chin quivering. Her skin pale white and cold as ice from shock.
"Wh-Who are you?" she asked.
"I'm Andy, and this is Ashley, Jinxx, Jake, and Sandra," I tell her, and see her relax a little when she notices mine and Ashley's wings.
"You're Fallen Angels," she says in awe.
"That's right, sweetheart," I whisper, then we helped her out, and she became my girlfriend.
*end Flashback*
I finally have the words for the song I want to write, so I scratch them down, then head to the bunks for bed.
Ashley's POV: After Andy came in, to go to bed, Lexi and I went back further in the bus, to the back lounge, while CC headed up front to hang out with Jake, who was munching on sushi. What? I have a really strong sense of smell?
Anyway. So we head back, and get comfortable on the sofa back there. I can tell our previous conversation's still running through Lexi's mind, as she stares blankly at the wall in front of us, so I rest my arm around her shoulders and whisper to her to relax.
"Easy for you to say," she murmurs back.
"Look, you can sit here worrying about things that you have no control over, at this current time, or you can relax and enjoy your time here...With me," I tell her, looking into those beautiful silver-blue eyes of hers. I could easily get lost in those eyes.
Holy shit! Am I falling in love with her? This poor, broke girl who fell from the sky...Just like Juliet did for Andy. Could Lexi be my Juliet?
Ugh! What the hell are you thinking, Ash!? Of course she's not your Juliet! She's still too innocent for a rebel like you! I scream at myself, mentally.
I hear her sigh from next to me, then she looks at me and says, "You're right. And while I'm here on Earth again, I'm going to enjoy all the things I never got to do in my last life on Earth."
What does that mean? I wonder, then get my answer as she straddles my hips and kisses me deeply. Holy shit! She's actually kissing me? So much for innocent.
I then feel her grind her hips roughly into mine, causing me to groan in pleasure, and I see a fire ignite and burn behind her icy eyes. Then I push her away from me, and sigh.
"What's wrong? Did I do something wrong, Ashley?" she asked, panic clear in her tone.
I shake my head, with another sigh, and say something I never thought I'd ever say...
"No. No, you didn't do anything wrong, it's just that...Well, Lexi, I can't do this. Not right now. I'm sorry," I tell her, then get up from the sofa and bid her a goodnight as I head for my bunk.
