Love's End

Ashley came back with my favorite ice cream, chips, and other such junk food, along with soda and energy drinks. Jinxx was off with Sammie, and I think Jake and CC were at a party with Asking Alexandra, meaning they could be back tomorrow, or next week. Either way the night was once again mine and Ashley's. While I was still horribly sad about loosing my baby, I knew it was probably for the best, seeing as she would have been single raised by only her dad, on the road, and surrounded by my friends who, while I loved them dearly, were probably the worst influences possible.
Ashley put on some movie that he wouldn't let me see, and laid down on the couch, pulling me against his chest. His arms went around my waist and he held me tight.
"How you feeling?" He whispered about half way through the first Batman movie.
