Spin the Bottle

Chapter 12

-Andy's POV-

I was awoken the next morning by Ashley shaking my shoulder lightly.
"Wake up, sleepy head," he said softly.
"Mmm, five more minutes," I mumbled. "It's still dark out, anyway."
"Not for long, and that's the point. You need to see the sunrise," he told me. I sat up in a daze, eyes still half shut, and meant to at least keep that somewhat upright position, but a moment later, my head was resting on Ashley's shoulder. "Aw, babe, come on," he teased, putting an arm around me. "You have to be awake enough to see this, it's beautiful." I nodded, rubbed my eyes, and then cuddled up in his arms to watch the sunrise. I had thought it would just be an average dawn, but no, this was much different, in the middle of the forest and secluded from civilization. It was breathtaking. Vivid reds, radiant shades of pink, bursting orange hues, and soft, muted purples wove themselves into elaborate streaks shooting across the horizon. The black trees formed silhouetted shadows against the explosion of color, and I gasped, fully awake now.
"Ashy..." I started, but was unable to find words. I had always lived in the city, things like this were completely new to me. Sure, I had gone camping before, but this was such a different experience. We watched the rest in silence as the wavering brushstrokes in the sky gave way to morning. "That was... that was..."
"Happy birthday, Batman."
"You're too good to me, you know that?"
"I'm only doing what a good boyfriend should."
"You don't give yourself enough credit." A sudden idea popped into my head, and I grinned, turning around so that I was on his lap in that slightly inappropriate fashion again.
"Andy-" I pecked him on the lips, still smiling. "I was going to say I love you."
"I love you, too, Ashes." We both leaned in for a deeper, slower kiss, and I savored the moment, but it wasn't what I was after. I began to kiss him more passionately, managing not to break it while pushing him backwards until I was on top of him. Ashley stopped for a moment.
"Andy, we can't."
"Why not?"
"We're in the back of my truck."
"It's comfortable."
"We're outside."
"In the middle of a forest away from society and isolated from all people."
"Do you really want to?" He asked, and I was worried suddenly. What if it was too soon?
"If it's alright with you," I responded. Before I knew it, he had flipped us over so that he was on top. I grinned. "Is that a yes?"
"Since the day we fell in love." He began to kiss me roughly, and I kissed back in that same way, pausing only to pull off his shirt and fling it to the ground, as he did the same with mine. I pulled away for a second, looking him in those gorgeous brown eyes he has, and resumed the kissing, this way working my lips down his neck. He moaned in pleasure and responded by removing my final article of clothing. I teased him by tugging the edge of his pants slowly, but found that I had ripped them off when he kissed my neck, as I had done to him. I was lost in the moment of what happened next.

*Smut*

-Ashley's POV-

I was cuddled up to Andy and breathing somewhat heavily after we'd had our fun.
"That was...that was..." I stuttered, unable to find words.
"Yeah," Andy agreed, finishing my sentence for me. We were quiet as we lied there with only each other, staring as the sun progressed across the sky at the pace of a snail. I suppose the air was stiff and crisp, as the grass was laced with frost, but my body was too overheated to feel it.
"So, uh...what now?" I asked, and Andy laughed.
"Whatever you want, darling. We could stay here, go back to your house, go out, whatever you feel like doing."
"I don't care as long as I'm with you."
"Will your parents be wondering where we are?"
"SHIT, YES!" I answered loudly, sitting up immediately. "Here, put your clothes back on, I didn't even tell them we were going out last night, hopefully they aren't too worried." Andy nodded, and we both quickly made ourselves and the back of the truck look presentable, not like we'd just done the sideways tango this morning. Soon, I was driving us back home.
"What time is it?" I asked, and Andy glanced at his watch, which he had to search for 10 minutes to find underneath a mountain of pillows.
"8:45, that's still kinda early, will they be up yet?"
"Hopefully not."
"What should we tell them."
"Uhh...Quick! Let's make a stop at the store and buy something and tell them we ran out of it, so we went to go buy some more."
"Good idea." When we arrived at the supermarket, however, we found that neither of us had much money at hand. I counted out what we had salvaged for in our pockets.
"Um, we're a dollar short, is that ok?" I pleaded to the cashier, who looked like someone who didn't give a shit about her job here. She shrugged, not bothering to remove an earbud.
"Yeah, just don't tell anyone." Relief washed through me, and I was beyond thankful we had chosen this isle. Now we had an excuse for being out.
"Thanks," I replied as Andy and I dashed back to the car with a small carton of milk. It was a race against time as I drove home, but was lucky enough to find that only my dad was up. He frowned when we came in.
"Why were you out?" He questioned, noting our messy hair, due to the fact that we lacked a hair brush and were forced to attempt fixing it ourselves.
"Oh, we, uh, ran out of milk, so we went to buy some more," I lied. Damnit, I'm not good at this, Andy should have told him.
"Oh. Well, thank you both," he responded cheerfully, and I breathed a sigh of relief. "But I just got some, you didn't need to," Dad added, opening up the fridge to show us.
"Whoops. Least we have more," I covered up badly. Dang I was a terrible liar! On the bright side, our flimsy paper airplane excuse flew, and no more questions were asked.

Notes

Eeek, I'm so sorry it's been forever!! I've been so busy, school is eating up all my free time, and it's hard to find a moment to write. Anyway, there's your smut, sorry it's really bad and short and stuff, but hey, it's there, they did the sideways tango. That's actually what my little sister calls it! Yeah, uh, there was something else, but I forgot...umm... Cutesy, fluffy date in the next chapter!! After that, it's back to school for Andy and Ashley, so that should have some more action. Supernatural elements and a twist for the couple when school lets out! Things should get more interesting once Andy starts having-no spoilers, you'll find out! Oh, I remember now, I also have Instagram if you guys want to check out my profile, my username is the same, blackveiledevanescence. Thank you all so much for reading, subscribing, commenting, and rating!!
