"Happy birthday you filthy slut!" Gary bellows hugging me tight. "We gonna do some highs and lows?"
"By the time I am on a high I have to be low again Gary." I whisper tugging on his pink flannel vest? "And what's up with the shirt?"
"Its for breast cancer you stupid bitch. You wanna spend tonight with me and my family?"
Oh. No. "I told you I have to go with my father to the Kierang awards thingy."
Gary is what you'd you call a strong personality. Its not that I don't love my best friend is just cause a little because I did not feel like hanging out with him all night. But mostly cause his parents are the weirdest people I have ever met..... And I live in California.
I ate dinner at his house once and I swore never again. "Fine. I mean if you don't wanna-" he shrug giving me a a pout.
"I just think we should put this conversation to bed." I mummer.
"Fine. Don't come to my house. Just know I hate you, bitch."
"Its my birthday." I say putting on the puppy dog eyes.
"But we are still on for the weekend right?"
"With bells on!" We walk down the hallways and everyone was staring at me and Gary. "Do I have something on my face."
"Oh did you not hear? Everyone is talking that your father's friend a certain Kellin Quinn swiped your V-card."
"What!?"
Gary pulled me into the bathroom and shut the door behind him. "Okay. I did not want to tell you seeing its your b-day."
"Wow," I breath. "The accelerated velocity of terminolgical inexactitute."
"Which is really just your obnoxious way of saying that lies travels fast." Gary snickered. "Come on." He pulled me back into the hallway as the rumors came by me.
- did you hear about Ana?
- so she is not a virgin anymore?

"I smell bitch. Kara." Gary breathed. "I am gonna snake that bitch."
I kiss my best friend cheek and shook my head. "Go to class. I will be fine."
I walk into English and yet again eyes were on me. I just rolled mine and sat down pulling out my book.
We were studying the Scarlet letter. The books you read in class always have some strong connection with whatever angsty adolescent drama is going on. Expect for huckleberry Finn. I don't know any teenage boys who ever run away with a big, hulking black guy. Or non the less me running away with my father.
Basically the movie was terrible and not to mention so low rated; but the book is amazing. This girl, hester Prynne, has affair with a minister, she was caught and made to wear a red A for 'adultery'.
God imagine in that time. What punishment would it affect if a girl slept with her father? Huh... Never thought about that one.
"In that time a worst crime a woman could commit was in fact adultery." Professor Smith speaks. I just lay on my head eying the grey bearded man.
I really hate my life now... For some unknown reason.
Lunch has came and I just sat by the fountain eying the people as the gaze at me. Damn where is my dad!!! He told me he is gonna pick me up.
"Hello."
"Kara." I whisper. "Push me in, and I will kill you." I warn.
"I heard about you and the twenty something guy who is your fathers friend." She leans in. "I just hope you used protection."
"Why?" I ask with a smile. "You're parents didn't."
"You're going to hell." She spat out making my eyes grew wide.
"Just as long as you won't be there."

"Good." I laugh seeing my father pulling up. "Stop spreading rumors about me." I flip my bag in her face and walked to my dad. "Worst day ever!" I climbed in.
"You had sex with Kellin."
I turn to my dad. "No! Its the rumor mill at school and how did you know that?!"
"Its the rumor mill at the studio,"he whispers kissing my chin. "You know I don't believe them, "
"Thanks dad. Everyone thinks I am not a virgin anymore."
