We Don't Belong

Andy's POV:

Dammit why do I have to be such an idiot? I just fucking kissed a seventeen year old girl. I mean, she was possibly the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen, and not that bad of a kisser, but that's just weird. And to make maters worse, I just cheated on Juliet, and probably scared the hell out of Rose.

Ashley patted me on the back after the girls left, saying that he was "proud" of me or something. Everyone else had gone to the bunks while I just sat on the couch, my head in my hands, replaying this morning's events.

I've known for a while that me and Juliet weren't going to last. She's awesome, it's just being separated for so much of the year is hard in any relationship, but add that to us both pursuing careers as musicians... It isn't fair to either of us.

And then there's my other problem, Rose. She seems like a sweet girl, maybe a little bit broken, but who isn't? She's a fan of our music, which is a plus, but she's still in high school. If anything were ever to happen... I can't even think about that right now.

All I know is that the next time I see Juliet, I have to straight forward with her, tell her that we need to break up. The good thing is we only have three shows left until this tour is over.

I pull out my phone and scroll through twitter. Juliet was right, fans are disappointed and even angry that we had to cancel the show, for a "stupid, ugly, anorexic whore who just wants attention". That angers me, but I decide against saying something, not wanting to start anything while I'm a little drunk and sleep-deprived.

I head back to my bunk before texting Rose, asking if she's okay and saying goodnight, even though it's like 6:00am. That's right, when she wasn't looking I swiped her phone and got her number. She should really get a password in her phone.



Rose's POV:

The second we're off the bus I check the time on my phone. It's almost 6:00am. At least today's a Saturday. I realize that I DO have text messages, at least a dozen, and about ten calls. My phone must've been on "Do Not Disturb". Oops?

Groaning as I help a stumbling Chloe into her house, I sneak us upstairs as best as I can considering I'm supporting my drunken best friend. When we get to her room I push her onto her bed where she falls asleep instantly.

I lay down beside her, scrolling through my messages. They're all from my parents. I sigh as I type a quick response.

Rose: Hey, sorry my phone died. I'm at Chloe's house sleeping over. Love you!

A couple minutes go by as I just stare at the ceiling, when my phone vibrates.

Unknown: Hey Rose, it's Andy. Just making sure ur ok. Sorry things got a bit weird :/

My eyes widen in surprise at the message. That's incredibly sweet of him. But when and how did he get my number?

Rose: Thanks Andy. I wouldn't things were weird... But u have a gf and I was just surprised I guess

I feel like the heart went too far, but have already sent it. Turning off my phone seems like the best way to escape any further embarrassment of him reading the text.

Sleep finally washes over me, and I welcome the darkness that takes me to a land with dark shadows and bright blue eyes.
