We Don't Belong

Andy's POV:

Rose seemed to be asleep.

She looked so peaceful, like an angel. She really was a fallen angel, and it hurt to know that she was scarred. But that just made her all the more beautiful, that the lovely girl in my arms is a fighter, even if her battle is within her own head.

I shook my head and kissed her cheek, brushing a stray strand of red-hair from her smooth skin. Her mouth was slightly open, and she took small, shallow breaths, indicating that she was out.

Rose's head was pressed into my chest, and my arms wrapped around her petite waist. I could look at her for hours on end and just continue to stare in awe at how gorgeous she was, and how lucky I was to have her. To call her mine.

I ran my fingers through her silky hair, admiring it's soft texture, and thought about what her dream could've been. She probably just was still shaken up about it, and also seemed pretty tired, so she just wanted to sleep. But still... What was do bad that the thought of her nightmare gave her shivers?

Giving up after a few minutes, I reached over and grabbed my phone, unlocking it and scrolling through twitter and Instagram. Nothing interesting caught my attention, so I decided I'd post a picture of the slumbering princess beside me. She looked even more adorable, of that was possible: her hair fanned out around her pale, thin face, long, dark lashes casting shadows across her highly sculpted cheekbones. Her full, pink lips... Damn I was whipped.

I posted the photo on both twitter and Instagram, and turned off my phone, tossing it absentmindedly into the mess of blankets.

I smiled at my girlfriend one last time, before pulling her even closer to my chest, and gently kissing her forehead and drifting back to sleep.

I know it's been like a week since my last update, so I thought maybe a cute chapter in Andy's POV would make up for my lack of writing! Maybe maybe not?
